Night and day. I'm so glad some of these film guys are pulling back the curtain. Richardson demonstrates a level of understanding in the passing game and the ability to manipulate defenses that these guys he has been compared to never shown in their college career. As I have said from day 1, yes, he is raw in the sense that he lacks consistency , not raw in the sense that he has a ton to of things to learn. He already has a natural feel for the position. He has some technique issues to clean up. Also, when someone has a wide ranging skill set like him, they have to work to achieve an understanding of what to do when, and that comes with coaching, practice and playing time. We can't be scared of this moment. He will have some growing pains and this shouldn't be a deterant. The vast majority of QBs do. Look at Allen and Jones.

Here is my problem with lil hoodie. Ever since 9-11 I have been force fed Pat's East game. Lil hoodie calls plays like he has the GOAT as his QB, and HOF hoodie as his HC. Lil hoodie's play calling is predictable. He has no imagination. He tries to ram a square peg intro a round hole.

Out side of him having a HOF HC and a HOF QB...what makes any of you believe he can get the job done?

He has shown me nothing this year that inspires hope. The only Hail Mary he will make is going after Brady in the hope of saving his ass from himself. If he tries to put a bandaid on a bullet wound, he'll be fired after next season.

:wind: I'm sorry. I've been watching the Raiders since Jim Plunkett was our Quarterback. I know Carr hasn't been great. I do believe however that he put everything into the Raiders. He was never our best quarterback, but he always loved being a Raider. I dont know how many coaches he's gone through, but I believe it's plenty. I just wish the best for him in his future. He just lit up the NFLs best defense for 365 yards and 3 TDs. I absolutely 100% guarantee Carr would not have come close to that vs that pass rush. Where Stidham ran for positive yardage under pressure, Carr would have either thrown the ball away or went full fetal and got sacked. Stidham extended alot of those drives with his feet. The only way Carr would have gotten any where near these stats would have been in garbage time down by three scores. I agree that Stidham adds a dimension to the game that Carr doesnt. I just have 2 points. 80% of the time a new qb comes in....the defense struggles. It happens all the time. So the fact that the raider offense played well is not shocking. That said...it was time for Carr to go. Just not a fan of trashing someone on their way out......

I have not seen anyone post he is the answer to our prayers my brother.....just a cheaper version of DC while the Raiders try and navigate the future. Cheaper sure. What is the DC comparison? On both TDs that he threw to Devante Adams, he took huge hits. Carr would have thrown the ball away. Watch the replay if you missed it.

I'm normally not a conspiracy theorist, but I have my thoughts on this year's team. Like most new football coaches, they want to build theorist own team, especially the quarterback. Throughout this season it appeared to me that the offensive game plan was not very aggressive. It was more tailored to running the football.

This year, to me, was Carrs worst season. I didn't see an offense that was geared towards his success. Today, the game plan was more aggressive and more quarterback oriented. Not to discount the amazing game Stidham has, but it felt to me McDaniels let it all hang out with him. If they weren't on board with Carr from the beginning, they should of let Stidham start before we were one game from elimination.

Maybe it was so we could get Adams. I dont know, but i definitely know McDaniels was more open to throw more today, than most any game this season. If it was his plan, they should of put him in halfway through the season. I have a big part of me that says McDaniels set Carr up to fail so he could have his pick at qb to begin his regime. Gruden dumbed down his offense for first year Carr, and Carr never really figured it out until year four.

Don't overthink it, Derek is just a dipshit. We added weapons and it just confused him.

Stidham however is in year 4 of the same offense with the same coach. He can handle complex playcalls and multiple reads...
