MD would have to hire a private militia to protect the team headquarters from the storming fans if they went this route. If the fan base was ever going to storm the Raiders' HC, they would have done it long ago. For most of the fan base, incompetence is all they have known. Those of us old enough to know any different would have a hard time getting our walkers up the steps.

16/88 is cool. Who want's to be the forums pet anyway? I only see one of those here.. Agreed. Posting opinions that someone else might not agree with does not make them a troll. Insulting people because they don't agree with you gets a little closer to that territory, and neither of them do that much.

And, yes, I do realize that I am sometimes guilty of that.

How the hell can we have a championship game with no ALPHA DOGS?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? LOL, piss poor showing by the SEC who thought they should have gotten all 12 spots. If it wasn't for Texas, who just joined this year, they wouldn't have won a single game.

If you are going to rant about the Broncos, at least be intellectually honest. They did not beat only bottom feeders, they beat several teams with winning records or right at or near .500 while we could not beat a CFL team. You can argue about the definition of "bottom feeder", but he does have a point about them lacking impressive wins:

Wins: Bucs, Jets, Raiders, Saints, Panthers, Falcons, Raiders, Browns, Colts

Falcons finished 8-9 in the worst division in the NFC and got them during Kirk Cousins meltdown. The Colts finished 8-9 in the worst division in the AFC and didn't have any impressive wins either. Every other team, including us, meets my definition of a bottom feeder.

The Broncos had a good season relative to where they have been, but haven't shown enough to qualify as an emerging contender, yet. They may get there eventually, but they haven't proved anything to me yet.

Who is it? I don't remember any of the guy's previous names - he was never able to stay active long enough to be memorable, but Sir Duck had it nailed. The mods don't want it discussed, so I won't say more (and it's not that interesting), but wanted to clarify that he wasn't any of the names that have been speculated.

It was his back injury but more so the psychological baggage that goes along with your teammates taking a dive for locker room reasons. His OL allowed him to get abused during the Redskins game.

Carr was a mediocre QB at best after 2016 but the wannabe shock jocks that are taking shots at his character are clueless. I do think that the Washington game was a significant step in his regression, but he wasn't a victim there. He just found out that he wasn't the leader that he thought he was.

Talent is not magic.

It's something tangible and easy to see for people who have a high enough football IQ.

A 60-year-old scout who's been working for a franchise since 1970 because of nepotism doesn't mean that they are more knowledgeable than anyone else. Math is also not magic - that scout would have been six years old when he was hired. I guess football IQ don't have anything to do with overall IQ.

RIP Rickey Henderson

Hard to believe Rickey Henderson died today at 65. He looked like he could still play, and I'm sure he would have been the first to tell you that he could have. He was a great player and one of the all-time great characters of the game. There's no legit all-time roster that he's not part of the starting nine. He was also a great football player when he was younger, and I think he could have been one of the greats in the NFL had he gone that route, instead.

Harbaugh started his NFL coaching career with the Raiders, and has expressed some affection for the organization. The time we should have gotten him would have been instead of either the Cable hire (2008) or Jackson hire (2011).
