Well, if Jimmy sucks I hope he sucks real bad so we'll have a chance at getting Caleb Williams in the draft. :thinking: I hate it when QBs suck but not bad enough to lose their job and it just goes on and on year after year, not good enough for playoffs, not bad enough to get fired. JJ was not there for training camp.

He needs time to get in synch and gel with teammates, but he was hurt this offseason.

McDaniels sucks at his job, he just needs a new coach. If Jimmy sucks, he sucks. There will be no excuses from me. I bet Jimmy won't blame everyone else though.

I fully expect timing to take time. Without seeing the play it’s hard to know. Was Jimmy trying to throw a timing route and was off? Did he throw or a target run the wrong route? Too many variables for us to know. The positive is our DBs are getting their hands on the ball and in some sort of position to make a play

With Running Backs generally having shorter careers in the NFL, their rookie contracts should reflect that as well. It should maybe be 2 years. One thing is for certain, some kind of investigation or assessments should be done on a rookie contracts per position.

The Players Association needs to step in and take care of its RB’s.

One thing for sure, rookie contracts should not be one size fits all. RBs get, (how can I say it nicely?) screwed. Sadly there is no perfect option or system. The next cba they should fight to do away with franchise tag or make it so it can’t be used first year off a rookie contract. They could also make rookie contracts 4 yrs only and do away with the 5th option. That would force teams to pay guys sooner

It i really hard not to have a glimmer of hope when camp starts and every team is tied for first. i mean, we have not had a loss since January which is a really long time.

That's just it. He was expressing his opinion in an interview. It didn't even come off as complaining unless you really want to stretch what was said. Only people mad about this are looking for something to be mad about IMO

It is simply a MUST watch for all Raiders fans. It reflects on Hondo in the sense that it’s his role to vet that stuff out. How are we supposed to take him seriously when talks about his sources when this article(?) makes it very clear that at least some of the people he’s quoting aren’t giving him good information. Yes, yes it does reflect badly on him. At least by me it does. If I told Hondo that next year we will be able to fly to the sun does he put it in print that a source told him this? Or does he laugh at the notion and report something that is reality based?

Supposedly, as the story goes, according to him, some source told him that it took McDaniels and Ziegler 7 (SEVEN!) games and the bye week before they finally figured out that they were in trouble. You might as well tell me we will be flying to the sun next year. If a source told me that I'd laugh at them and it would be a good joke for my colleagues to laugh at around the water cooler. No way I would put it in print and have people laughing at me for doing so.
