Our team played a lot harder under Gruden then they are under McD.

Bobby Petrino, Nick Saban, Greg Schiano, and Ray McPherson (to name four off the top of my head) were all widely respected college coaches whose acts completely failed in the NFL.

I'm not saying Deion's act would fail in the NFL. We simply don't know that. Jimmy Johnson, for instance, was very successful jumping from the college ranks and so was Pete Carroll (although Carroll had had previous NFL HC experience). My point is that it's a major unknown whether he could effectively motive NFL veterans. You missed the biggest flop, Urban Meyer.

The bears are our next chance, and even that is iffy.
This team has no guts, no anything. They are slow, unmotivated, weak, uncoordinated, sloppy.... and just plain bad.
I just dont know how they are THIS bad, like, lucky to win another game bad.

So my rule the past few years that has helped my football sanity a lot is, I only watch when they are .500 or better.
I think I just watched my last game for the season, and that sucks. But there is no chance they get back to .500 at any point this season, and Im not wasting away my life watching losing football, when there is a million other fun things I could/will be doing.
I will watch the stats role by on my phone from the golf course or fishing boat. They get back to .500 I drop everything and watch a game.
I will still be around to talk about Manglefoot jr. If you're not watching you might as well save your sanity and quit commenting too. I mean how can you talk about something you haven't even seen?

I'm not sure about that, I think there are recent examples of teams that were mediocre for a while and then ended up winning. Not saying that's the way to do it but it has been done more than once. I think, no matter what you are today, if you draft and develop well you'll climb.

Mayer got a ton of love going into the draft and so far, like Wilson, he's been a big disappointment. Doesn't look anything like the scouting reports so far. Too early to make hard judgements, but damn, maybe the other GMs knew what they were doing when they selected other TEs before him.

It's legal. I have Youtube TV and the Sunday ticket so when the pre season games were on instead of seeing the Raiders play live I was getting the Cleveland or Cardinals game everybody west of the Mississippi was getting the Raiders . With Youtube TV you are allowed to select a traveling option . Change your location to Vegas and you get the Raider feed instead of the other game. I figured you wouldn't post it if it wasn't cool but we don't have that option here so I wasn't sure.
