Wilson like Richardson has the potential to be a superstar. The main difference is that it's much harder to succeed at QB than it is for a defensive end.

I'm happy with the pick and I'm not that much worried about the injury. I'm sure Ziegler wouldn't have drafted Wilson if he wasn't sure about his injury not being a problem in the future.

Wilson is the most important draftee Ziegler has ever picked, since Ziegler didn't have a 1st round pick to last year because of the Adams trade. And I don't think he would take that risk if he thought Wilson's injury was going to linger. It’s understandable he’s a bit polarizing - hes a ceiling guy. Some people don’t like taking those types of players top 10 and prefer safer picks.

With Wilson it’s easy to see his upside. If you fix his get off and develop his technique you’ve got a Myles Garrett level edge -Just unblockable 1 on 1. While it’s incredibly hypothetical - there’s not many guys with that level of upside.

At the same time - his technique right now isn’t close to Myles Garrett or really any top edge rusher at this moment. He got a pretty steep learning curve between where he is now and his ceiling. And we’ve of course been burned on those types of players in the past.

Time will tell but I can say I’ve got a good feeling about him and I’m not normally one to Stan over our picks. Probably best to temper production expectations in year 1 but I think he’ll make his plays and be a fun one to watch.

He has been traded twice, for not very much; the Chiefs got rid of him - he had a spat with a coach -- the Rams got rid of him. He had an ACL. I say be very wary of paying him much at all. Make it low risk, high reward if he plays well. He can sign somewhere else if he doesn't like the offer.

Seems like a pretty average draft and I don't mean in a bad way. It seems like for years we had to make excuses to defend all the outrageous, early reach picks but this one seems like a pretty normal draft with some good solid early round picks and a few picks that were maybe reaches in some of the later rounds. Kind of middle of the road but draft grades after the weekend of the draft don't always hold up as that's why it's fun to look back and re-grade drafts because there's just so much volatility and unknown. We just have to hope the drafted players can play and the coaching staff help them reach their potential.

I’m not sold on the mobile QB thing. I’d emphasize how well a QB feels the pocket and buys time vs the take off and run speed.

The turd had no pocket instincts other than self preservation.

If this O’Connell kid has pocket intelligence he doesn’t need to be a running back
