And it was Mayock who wanted JG to look at Jacobs so he doesn't get full credit for finding him

There is no guessing what Reggie would have done. Here is how bad it is in Raiderland. I was at the Nashville draft. I was on the stage for the first round. Every team got swag bags from their organizations out to the fans on the stage. I saw guys getting all kinds of cool stuff. Really nice team gear and shit. I got a generic Raider shirt and toothpaste and a toothbrush, a few bits of candy that looked like he raided the bottom of the halloween bag and that was about it. A fucking toothbrush? Other fans were pulling out logo balls and polo's and shit and I got a toothbrush. Who does that? Oh right, the Turnip. Everything flows from the top down. We suck as an organization because the owner sucks. candy and a toothbrush? How ironic :rofl:

Look what happened when it looked like we were going to get better and we did have a good season or two with Gruden . Then the NFL got rid of him. Now we have a village idiot in charge and a lot of good players have been dumped or are not used. Does that answer the question about negativity? If not, keep on living the delusion that DC was the problem. What exactly was good under Gruden? The one season the team made the playoffs, he resigned mid season and the interim coach did his job better than Gruden ever did.

The available evidence suggests otherwise. They could not use that designation willy nilly. Couple his social media meltdown with the team sending over a crisis team and then designating his status as it is now does, in fact, suggest very strongly that the team believes he had an event. Yeah, no doubt something isn't right with him...

After seeing first hand Jimmy's range I think we should give O'Connell his shot. While Aidan does not have the greatest of arms, I think he can stretch the field far more than Jimmy can. I agree, that AO should be first, activated during games and two, should definitely be that guy that comes in if Jimmy G goes down. AND if things do not improve with Jimmy G, YES, AO should be given his shot.

While I fully understand why everyone is looking at the last draft shaking their heads.....I simply suggest that we wait a tad longer to see how this plays out. It could be that this last draft is a very good one. I do know if Z found the future at the QB position it would go a long way to improving the look of this last draft.

Plus, I am not one to actually grade or judge a draft after two games but that is me.

Girlfriend in college loved this movie. I could not stand it and felt it was Michael Keaton's absolute worst movie of his career. But that character alone was pretty brilliant. I watched that movie recently for the first time... easily amongst one of the dumbest movies but there were a lot of funny moments, that character being one of them.

The entire band wrote stuff they performed and each had at least 1 top 10 hit. And they were all really smart and college graduates. John (bass player) was an electrical engineer and he was the guy who wired up their amps and sound board. And they were all fans of the Marx Brothers. A casual fan would not have realized that two of their albums were titles of Marx Brothers movies. Bohemian was recorded at a farm house in a custom studio set up by Freddie.

When Freddie died, John decided it was over and other than two performances, he retired. But he is still managing their money and he has done an outstanding job. They still generate a huge amount of income to this day because of John.

On their most recent box set, they have retired Fat Bottomed Girls and it is not on the set list. Brian, who is an astrophysicist, took it out out of a desire to not offend anyone. I know, I know, woke culture, but Brian wrote the song and he gets to make that call. Trivia time, Brian plays his guitar using a coin as his pick. He has influenced more than a few musicians that way.

I saw them in 1980 on The Game tour at the old Forum with an old girlfriend who, surprisingly, did not listen to their music. She became a fan of Freddie that night. He was magnetic.

Side note, at Live Aid, the band was supposed to do a very small set, but Freddie, who had been away for a while and not in his best voice, took over, revived his voice on stage and they went for just under an hour. Nobody involved in Live Aid said a word. The crowd went nuts when Freddie got the band to do Radio GaGa. Love the insight. Had no idea about Brian playing with a coin.

I prefer the Impossible over the Beyond burgers. Beyond for me has a bit of a funky after taste. Don't get me wrong, I love grilling my "real" 80/20 lean burgers but like to switch it up and the Impossible is not a steep drop off. Regarding lab cultured meat - it will be mainstream in 25 years out of necessity. Definitely understand the skepticism and reluctance to partake. It's not much different than current CAR-T therapies for certain types of cancers which will one day greatly reduce the need for chemotherapy by culturing, harvesting, and mass producing the best of the best of your own immune cells to fight your cancer. Lab cultured meat takes real meat cells, assesses which have the best characteristics and replicates them. Okay, I guess that sounds Matrix-y but my experience is that the people working on this stuff have high ethical standards.

Has anyone ever had a impossible whopper from Burger King or know anyone who has ever had one? I've had a couple, the first was really good the second was dry and not very good. I just wanted to try it, yeah it's like a $1 more and if they can overcook it to end up dry, I don't need to take that chance with a rando BK cook. I feel if you ask you owe it to yourself to try, it's not going to come out like something in left-field, it's very palatable.

I do like the idea of moving away from beef, I like the idea of an electric car. But I just haven't been able to feel comfortable or ready to do so. I do have a hybird and it's sweet getting 50 mpg's, make's $5 a gallon gas feel like the late 70's where a car got you 10 mpg's and gas was a $1/gallon. Same exact cost looking at it that way, so that is turning the clock back in its own way.

I do know I'm not afraid of change and there is no reason to attack things like this, to me it's a sure sign you have grown old and grumpy as we all still have an option to eat meat or buy a gas car.

Like I said, it was not bad, I have tried them twice. It is not something that I would seek out but I get why it is a thing. And it is not just "hippies" who are interested in this product line.

I am actually more interested in the "lab grown" meat stuff. If what they are claiming is true, it is like a 3D printer but it makes meats that are exact. That has world hunger solution written all over it. As soon as those hit the market, I will certainly give that a try I don't know man. Soylent Green keeps popping into my head.
Reminds me of an article I read about apples. Today's trees produce fruit that have up to 7 times less nutrients than the ones our older generations (me included) ate. Genetically engineered stuff and all.
