Watson ripped his achilles again. Feel sorry for him but it looks like his career is over. If the Browns weren't in the QB before they sure are now, Be interesting to see how much a team is willing to give up to get to the 1st or 2nd pick. If people are willing to trade up for Sanders or Ward the GM and HC won’t be lasting very long. Let’s hope it’s not us

I have a lot of questions about this “search firm”. Who is on their staff that is more qualified to conduct the search than an experienced NFL GM? When were they hired, Tuesday? Who, in this outfit, has the final say? And on and on. The search firm wouldn't have the final say. They would be conducting a professionally run process, with some consistency in the interviews and they would make recommendations. I think the key person in the hiring process is Brady and he's the guy with the final say. That might not thrill you, but it's an upgrade over Mark Davis..... and likely an upgrade over a lot of owners who do the hiring around the league. Yes, Davis could overrule Brady if he wanted, I just don't see any chance of that happening.

It looks rough right now, but I feel like this is the first time we have went into anything trying to align everything correctly. We will see if they can pull it off and prevent stuff like this week and the last decades from happening again. One would hope, but this franchise does not deserve the benefit of the doubt.

I think he been trying to surround himself with good people since Al left us and he's still looking. Brady is a gamble as a trusted football savant. Brady knows x and o but drafting and coaching staff? That's uncertain at this point. We are in uncharted waters once again after launching from the familiar port of another coaching rebuild. This is getting seriously tiresome to watch.

Brady seems to be running things now. Leave “wingman” at Hooters please.

In years past I’d be willing to give the benefit of the doubt but I’m not sure anymore.

Until I see improvements I will automatically assume that any decision the Raiders organization makes (read Mark Davis) is the wrong one.

I’m truly baffled.

Do not under estimate Bowl Cut's stupidity. Marketing and the move to Vegas came into play when Gruden was brought back. No doubt that factor will be considered with Sanders and Sons ... Hush yo mouth!!!

I don’t know enough about him to say definitively, but Coen fits a lot of what I like. Young guy with a new style offensive scheme who learned within a really solid system.

I would have been fine with AP getting another year personally because I don't think constant coaching turn over is good for winning, Constant turnover is horrible but only a dumbs hit would think keeping a loser another year is better.

If AP was simply handcuffed by poor talent but showed acumen as a coach during games, id agree to give him a better roster.

However it was so obvious he was way over his head, to keep him was worst case scenario

I agree, but when a guy is in over his head, you gotta fix it. I like AP, he just isn't HC material.... at least not without more experience.

Well.... I have to say I'm a bit surprised. I really thought they would keep him for another year. I'm certainly not broken up over it ...... just kind of surprised Mark actually did it.

All jokes aside, I dont view AP like I did McDaniels. AP loved the Raiders and wanted to win and bring back the culture so bad, he was just in over his head, and losing on Kingsbury and Jayden Daniels and every other QB in the class further sealed his deal. The decision to bring in Luke Getsy just buried him..Marks hands were tied in a division with Peyton, Reid, and Harbough, you just have to fight fire with fire and AP was not the right fit for this fight. All respect to AP, we'll always have Christmas 2023..
