Must admit I felt a bit let down when AP conceded that our offense would "be no juggernaut". True or not, that's a bit of a defeatist attitude that I didn't expect from him, particularly when I would put our receiving and TE group against anyone in the league. I was hoping his attitude would be more of lighting a fire under the o-line, QB and Getsy to MAKE it work. I would rather him be honest than blow smoke up my ass.

I mean did anyone think that AP's boneheaded decisions from last year wouldn't carry over? He will probably be the first coach fired this year AP has done a great job of getting the most out of our players, he still has a lot to learn but hes the best coach we have had in a long time. We were in this game the entire game until the end. The offense is 100% to blame for this loss.

Patrick Graham has done such a good job since moving up to the observation box. He is born to be a DC, not a head coach.

What do the fans have to do with the injury report? It's not for the fans. If they are keeping things close to the vest it's to keep the Chargers guessing. The fans are not in the equation at all The fans pay their salary, there wouldnt be any football without fans. Looking at the injury report it says JPJ is out because of illness, what illness?

I seriously hate the way the Raiders Organization hides injury information from the fans. It doesnt give our team any advantage to keep it a secret, they just like to be dicks to the fans.

It has become clear that this (now repetitive) thread has three constituents:
1. About six or seven people who call Wilson an outright bust and are pissed we drafted him.

Not surprised at all. When one's run defense is poor against vanilla running schemes in pre-season one needs LBs who can tackle. Patrick Graham will be running some 3-4-4 and 4-3-4 against teams with strong running games. The chargers are one of them. I was watching Telescos Interview today and he kind of alluded to, that they were keeping so many linebackers for the new Special Teams changes.

Cage doesn’t look like Madden? Chris Farly would have made a perfect Madden. When I was a kid we used to watch the games at my grandparents every Sunday and anytime Madden was the announcer my grandfather would turn off the TV sound and use the radio broadcast. Something about Maddens personality just rubbed some people the wrong way.

I'm just not buying it. Go ahead and throw rocks. Yeah I dont get how an O-lineman suffers a concussion during OTA's either. Its also weird that half the articles say he suffered a shoulder injury and the other half says it was a concussion.

Or he's a lost cause and AP wants to give the 3rd stringers a chance as i read no starters will play this week and technically he is a starter, or mb he doesn't want teams another look at what a pile of crap he is and give them a chance to change their mind about him, could go either way lol He was listed as a 2nd stringer, so he isnt a starter. They must not want to showcase him anymore because the more hes on the field the faster his trade value plummets.

If AP is going by quarters, Minshew has a tough first quarter, they could very well try out AOC after the 4 games are up. Im not a big fan of playing the Harbaugh brothers back to back, Baltimore Harbaugh will probably get some insights on our team in week 2 from his brother Jim.

Minshew could end up being the next Baker Mayfield, they are similar. Mayfield didnt shine until he got to the bucs.
