Yeah , heard the cry for the W sauce.....was in my Amazon basket and it got demoted to the save for later purgatory room.Hellbound wrote Wed Apr 10, 2024 8:29 pm:Saw that today. Way back in the day I used to dump powdered ranch into my burgers and have always used Worcestershire sauce in with them. Nowadays I use a house seasoning from my local butcher and Bear & Burtons W sauce. If you haven't used W sauce grab some. It's just a way better version of regular Worcestershire sauce.
I've always experimented when I make burgers. I know most if not all my friends just use salt & pepper but it's fun to add just whatever flavors you might think would work together. Sometimes you stumble upon a damn good find, sometimes you gag & throw the burger away. It's a cheap way to experiment and you should always have fun cooking and not be afraid to try something new. Just make sure you have you local pizzeria on speed dial just in case!

I know there's hype around a lot of things and this is no different but yes, I believe the W sauce is worth it. It's bolder and better tasting imo. It's fairly strong so I'd be careful about dousing things in it. They have several flavors but I've only had the regular and the breakfast sauce which is very good alsoSold My Soul wrote Wed Apr 10, 2024 8:52 pm:Yeah , heard the cry for the W sauce.....was in my Amazon basket and it got demoted to the save for later purgatory room.
I'm pretty much into the dry seasoning at this point.
I have a skirt steak in the freezer I need to marinate...
You think the W sauce is the way to go?

Got medallions to grill out tonight, adding mushrooms to the frying pan with butter, making a fine gravy, mashing up some red potatoes and that is dinner. I usually do my red meats without much else but medallions over mashed with mushrooms and gravy is a rare weakness of mine.Sold My Soul » Tue Apr 30, 2024 8:03 pm

Had to run to the post office 1st thing this morning so on the way back home I stopped by my local Baker/Kroger store to pick up Baby Ray's BBQ sauce. I always stop by the mark down meat selection to see what got marked down.
