Thumbs up or down on this one. They have part 2 ready for release but the studio pulled it because the 1st part lost money. It's suppose to be a 4 part epic.
The first movie spent mounds and mounds of time setting things up. But not what I would consider an entertaining movie experience. That said if it were the first two episodes in a miniseries, I would have little to complain about and be looking forward to the next installment.
Horizon is simply in the wrong format. It would have been received with much more appreciation if it were a damn miniseries that one could stream.
That is just my take but something tells me that my reaction is one shared by many.
Costner has always been a big screen guy.
It was pretty entertaining. If you enjoy the MCU at all, you will most likely get a kick out of this one, although, it's not a part of the MCU timeline.
There's a couple interesting films dropping this month. That Bob Dylan movie, A Complete Unknown looks really good. Timothee Chalamet is awesome.

The witty banty reminded me too much of the Gilmore Girls.
GLADIATOR 2 .... Mixed emotions. "Macrinus" lost me in the layers of cross/double cross/ triple cross ....
I loved it on a philosophical side. Lost me a little on the particular design features of the charming little cottage.

At the film festival Costner said he will sell some of his 4 houses to make parts 3 and 4.
