scheme improvement. Pagano is an XO guy and he can improve the performance of the guys on the field. Norton can go off with his pom poms and do what he does at the kiddie table while Pagano gets them in position to make plays at the adult table

We start with 3/4 on the road and finish with 3/4 on the road, except Kansas City doesn't get the scheduling advantage with us like they did last year (bye before coming to Oakland and at home against us on a Thursday night).
KC is actually on the road in Pittsburgh that previous Sunday. Saw where one poster predicted they'd beat us at home. Not a fucking chance we lose that game.

I think we win 9 maybe 10 games. So disappointed in how the defense was neglected in free agency. Sure, our offense is good but we aren't pulling off the magic this year that we pulled last year. Not to mention last year's draft really hurt us. Ward and Calhoun were complete wasted picks. Joseph has potential but needs to stay on the field.
Dude, it's obvious we're watching the $$$ in FA, which is understandable with the contracts we have coming up. I was hoping we'd sign Zach Brown, but obviously Reggie didn't like something with the guy's game. Have to trust our GM on that, especially considering he WAS a linebacker.
I'd say school was still out on Ward and Calhoun, in fact the staff's faith in the young guys we have on roster may be responsible for the moves made or not made at DT.
To me, this draft is very, very important for this team on defense. I dislike having to integrate more players, but it is what it is and the nature of today's NFL. I think after the draft we'll see some aggressive dumpster diving with free agents.
We may have the worst defense in the division but I have huge expectations in the development of Derek Carr. I'm looking at the first half of last year's Carolina game as a good barometer of how this team will play.
But it's just my take. That and a dime will buy a cup of coffee.
10-6 is my guess, tough road schedule and the division isn't getting any easier. Awful lot riding on Pagano and hopeful progression of youngsters from last year plus rookies on defence - we are going to be exposed most of the season until players start to gel. Hopefully the offence can put enough points on the board to win several of them. Expect to see more running this year as clock management will be a good way to protect the defence.
I have 8-8 but it's so hard to predict these things as most teams are always an injury or two away from a significantly worse season than expected. Can Eli Manning play a full career without ever sustaining an injury? Will Brady hit the wall that often comes out of nowhere without warning for 35+ year old players? Will the Broncos aging defense finally collapse under the weight of carrying the team for multiple years? This is why the NFL is so intriguing on a yearly basis.
