He is almost 80 years old. He isn't a long term solution.

Has Papa spoken on the situation on the radio or elsewhere? I quit listening to 95.7 the Niners.

I hope so. Since we are being uprooted and moved to Nevada, let's go with something new and current, not an old retread. And I am old. Well, getting up in the years I guess. I do like Lincoln K -- his sideline work has been very good. He sounds on the ball, unlike Tom Florez who gave us lightweight, re-tread analysis and could not deliver a sentence without stumbling all over it.

I'm sure they will stick with a local guy or someone with Vegas ties to replace Musburger after year 3, just so Vegas will have someone else they can connect with. Then probably pair him with a Lincoln Kennedy or Kirk Morrison type

Can't stand Musburger! I will miss Papa. It stings that he will be a Niner. The saving grace of this change is Lincoln Kennedy.

My 2 cents...

There is a (little) nostalgia with Papa, but I never really liked him. I believe Musburger is far better, teamed with Big Linc, whom I think is very good, and up and coming, this is good for the future! Musburger has a voice that is synonymous with Sunday mornings, and I'll enjoy it while it lasts.

And there is a big reason as to why they shared that sentiment. But I’ll just leave it at that.

Agreed.

And even if you do is your world going to crumble so bad as to freak out that much about it? lol and smh.

Don't like muswhatever but like big link. Can we PLEASE replace the brent muswhatevers, the Al Michaels and chris berman's of the world who they keep trotting out there for the last 50 years and counting?! They were old 30 years ago! It's not like they haven't had there time in the spotlight and had a chance to make some serious coin. Give somebody else a chance for the love of pete...

Love Kennedy. I remember in the early days of the NFL Network - how Kennedy made all the furniture (especially his seat) look like miniatures - it always reminded me of the Friendly Giant - I watched as a child.

Do 95% of the people know who the Friendly Giant is?
