Given the choice between carr and foles its a no brainer, Foles is much better than carr. We should take the cap hit and trade our used carr in for a new foles.Corleone wrote Sat Jan 05, 2019 9:04 am:FYI:
If we do move on from DC, Foles seems like a very likely target. I didn't realize it until recently, but Mike Mayock, had been working the Eagles broadcast booth during preseason games (2015-2018). He's seen a lot of Foles, and that may give us an inside track (I also think Gruden would be an appealing situation for a vet QB).

Bake it at 190 degrees for 15 minutes then cook it at low temperature with some butter, strain it, put in freezer. I heard that somewhere, not sure where though.VEfreak wrote Sat Jan 05, 2019 6:11 pm:Hell naw, I love smoking some good herb. Maybe with some good keif or hash crumbled over the top.

I find it hard to believe that any team in the league will give up a 1st round pick in any year for Carr. Why would you trade a first rounder for Carr, who was a 2nd round pick and is top 12 at best in the NFL and pay him $100 million over the next four years when you could just select your own qb in the first round and pay him $20 million over the next 4? Just in the last 2 years, the qbs. that were selected in the 1st round include Mitch Trubisky, Patrick Mahomes, Deshaun Watson, Baker Mayfield, Sam Darnold, Josh Allen, Josh Rosen, and Lamar Jackson. Most of this list is at least on par or better than Derek and would come with an $80 million savings. So obviously, I would select any 1st round pick for Carr. Just have faith that Mayock and Gruden's scouting abilities are up to speed.haji81872 » Sat Jan 05, 2019 8:50 pm
Which Nick Foles are we getting? The one from the start of the year when he completly sucked or the one at the end of the year?deathstar » Sat Jan 05, 2019 11:52 pm
You missed Denico Autry and Cordell Patterson. Yes, Carr will be next to make playoffs when traded.Ivanavich wrote Sat Jan 05, 2019 11:55 am:There is one phenomena going for the Raiders favor - ex-Raiders in the playoffs.
Jano
Mack
Cooper
Crabtree
how many did I miss?
Carr could be next.

The Autry subtraction from our roster rarely gets talked about enough, imo. How did this happen? Colts aren't paying him much, are they? How the hell did he grade out to our staff as being expendable??deathstar wrote Sat Jan 05, 2019 11:52 pm:You missed Denico Autry and Cordell Patterson. For the longest while I was saying trade him. But the last several games he showed promise in Gruden’s system. The NFL is a QB driven league and none of these up and coming QB’s are set in stone franchise QB’s. In 2015 and 2016 Carr showed he can play at a high level. So I voted to keep him.RenoRaider » Sun Jan 06, 2019 9:39 am
You think the staff has any idea what they’re doing? You’re a funny man.The Duke wrote Sun Jan 06, 2019 5:50 am:The Autry subtraction from our roster rarely gets talked about enough, imo. This topic seems a little pointless after Mayock's and Gruden's own comments. Mayock's comments said that Carr didn't have enough talent around him to block or skill players to play, to evaluate him. Mayock also said he has the arm talent etc. matching anyone in the game. That's not the sounds of someone who is giving up on a promising prospect who has faced a ton of adversity(constant scheme changes, not much help from teammates, like league leading drops by receivers etc.) Carr stays to be evaluated properly for the next year or likely 2 unless he totally tanks next year, or someone offers a good first and a second or something crazy like 2 firsts. You just don't give up a promising player at the most important position. Glad most here aren't GM or coach of this teamSkullCrusher » Sun Jan 06, 2019 9:42 am

Here's where Carr ranked in 2016 (by far his best year) on top QB stats:raiderkoch wrote Sun Jan 06, 2019 9:40 am:Now, No Carr is not Ben Roth, nor is he the scrambler like Russel Wilson, but his 2016 season, the only one that was 2 years in the same scheme, proves what he can do.
