Has he lived up to the hype? No. Is he a great run defender? Yes. Can he add juice to the pass rush yes. Can he generate a rush from inside if moved there at times on 3rd downs? I think so.Be_Easy_25 » Wed Nov 13, 2019 7:58 pm
With Russ paid, why wouldn't the Hawks franchise tag him?RaidersNFLReject » Wed Nov 13, 2019 8:00 pm
Hell Yeah!!!RaiderMiles » Wed Nov 13, 2019 8:02 pm
Seattle will re-sign him. He is their best, and at times, their only pass rusher.Hawaiian Raider » Wed Nov 13, 2019 8:11 pm
I’d take Clowney and Buckner. They both have cred.Jmug23 » Wed Nov 13, 2019 8:15 pm
The bummer part is he will probably get north of 20 mil per season and he’s never had double digit sacks. That being said, it’s FA and you have to overspend usually for the top level guys. Can’t sit on our hands this offseason. We are a few players away from being SB contenders IMO.RaiderandBulldog » Wed Nov 13, 2019 8:16 pm
I doubt we will get the chance since Sea will resign him but if some how they don’t then yes grab him.deathstar » Wed Nov 13, 2019 8:24 pm
What people don't know is Clowney will be seeking a Mack or Donald like contract. Why do you think The Texans were not able to resign him? He had a great game but it clearly is not elite for a season or season after season. I would stay away from him and pay people who want to be here.RenoRaider » Wed Nov 13, 2019 9:32 pm
Clowney on the Raiders? Stop. I can only get so hard.Ivanavich » Wed Nov 13, 2019 10:55 pm
Just say NO! to Clowney.chucker » Wed Nov 13, 2019 11:11 pm
When clowney is healthy and motivated he is really damn good. In the short term I think he’ll be great, but in the medium to long term I worry a little about his motivation, and a lot about his health. That makes the kind of contract he’ll get a massive risk.
