In all honesty if we can`t beat the Jets we are not ready for post season play. If we lose to the Jets I think we will be a bug on the Chiefs windshield. If we take care of business in NJ then raw hunger and discipline might make a game of it in KC and I may begin believing (again) that the Raiders are turning a corner.mad stork 83 » Fri Nov 22, 2019 11:26 am
Those conditions should favor the offense.nmonte374 wrote Thu Nov 21, 2019 9:44 pm:It calls for rain but only for a quarter inch.... it’s not gonna be downpouring

And if we can't be competitive with KC where does that really rank us? Everybody recently has beaten or taken them to the wire for a good stretch here, probably since our last time we played.Xramfan wrote Fri Nov 22, 2019 11:17 am:In all honesty if we can`t beat the Jets we are not ready for post season play. They do have the #1 ranked rush defense, but I don't think they can shut down our run game. Those numbers may be slightly skewed by weak opponents as well. That said, I don't expect us to run all over them either.mad stork 83 wrote Fri Nov 22, 2019 11:26 am:Those conditions should favor the offense.

I agree with much of what XRamfan said. I feel if we lose against the Jets, a team who most would agree we are better than, it would be proof that this team really hasn't progressed as much as we thought. Not just the athletic side of it, the mental side. We have to win this game.SkullCrusher wrote Fri Nov 22, 2019 11:30 am:And if we can't be competitive with KC where does that really rank us? Three weeks ago people were calling this a definite win.Guru wrote Sat Nov 23, 2019 12:31 am:Everything about this game screams disappointing loss to me
- East Coast early game, after 3 weeks on West Coast...
- Bad weather expected; making it more difficult to throw the ball... Jets #1 run defense.
- Jets scoring 34 points in back to back games... Raiders highest score all year: 31 points.
This game is a major test for this young team. They can't afford to leave points on the field like they've been doing. Put it this way... if they win this game, it tells me they deserve to be in the playoffs.
