I know the last two weeks have sucked but be honest how many of us thought we would be 6-6 at this of the season with a chance to finish with a winning record? Not many of us if any.Cencalsfinest » Sun Dec 01, 2019 5:11 pm
Hopefully Carrs not part of itTheflyingdutchman » Sun Dec 01, 2019 5:14 pm

Yes.Theflyingdutchman wrote Sun Dec 01, 2019 5:14 pm:Agree.
A 9-7 record would already be a win for this group.
But we also have to make some crucial decisions this offseason...the biggest one being the QB position.
Many things...or perhaps too many...need to go right for DC to play well. And that means he is not a next-level kinda guy. He is an Andy Dalton of the world.
Again, he ain’t trash. But there should be time when this experience needs to end, right?
This is not a ‘sky is falling’ type of response from me though just to make it clear. But I do think it’s time to examine this question very very seriously.

Cool our jets?!?!?! Have you not seen the product on the field? Have you not seen what abomination we have at qb?Theflyingdutchman » Sun Dec 01, 2019 5:18 pm
I think so too.Gmac wrote Sun Dec 01, 2019 5:15 pm:Yes.
At some point it might be best best for both parties to get a change of scenery.

If you think Carr is an abomination than you don’t know a thing about QBs.GrimboSnipes wrote Sun Dec 01, 2019 5:17 pm:Cool our jets?!?!?! Have you not seen the product on the field? Have you not seen what abomination we have at qb?

I’m not sold on replacing Carr, especially considering our receivers. That being said, our priority in the offseason is getting past KC. Carr just can’t (physically, mentally). For that reason alone, it might be time to move on.RaiderandBulldog » Sun Dec 01, 2019 5:22 pm
I would be in the same boat if I was convinced Carr holding the offense back.Smucky wrote Sun Dec 01, 2019 5:20 pm:I’m not sold on replacing Carr, especially considering our receivers. We are in year two of a compete rebuilt like Chuckie said and it’s showing we went 8-8 his second year the first go around and at thini we finish in that range
We have seen this kind of year before in 2015 we went 7-9 and had loses like this and some great wins with the payoff being 2016.
We are almost there but not yet.

The Carr excuses will never end. Ever. One way or another, guys will always find excuses for him and his awful play.WolfRaider » Sun Dec 01, 2019 5:23 pm
Are we still a off season away though?RaiderandBulldog » Sun Dec 01, 2019 5:25 pm
Our offense is looking good except for the Wrs that is why Gruden got AB,the defense hopefully is serviceable with Crosby and Mullen devolving and good draft picks.WolfRaider » Sun Dec 01, 2019 5:29 pm
I'm not a Carr hater, but is he good enough to take us not only past KC but also win a SB. I don't think he is, average QB with to many flaws. Time to reroll the dice on a QB, Winston, Tannehill, Foles or Mariota could both be veteran QBs worth looking at. If Gruden can work his magic on them, wouldn't be surprised if he got one of them going, or just bridge till we get a QB in the draft.Smucky wrote Sun Dec 01, 2019 5:20 pm:I’m not sold on replacing Carr, especially considering our receivers.
