Golden Tate has always been a guy I thought should be a Raider. He is a hard nose WR that goes after the ball, good hands and doesnt go down easy. I know he os in the twilight of his carrer, but would LOVE to have him in the locker room showing our young wrs how to play hard.
If we could get him on a low 1 year deal I would do it in a heart beat.

I mean if he wants to be the #5 receiver and place Zay, sure. I think we need a receiver who offers more in the speed department to replace Agholor if we indeed lose him.

With all the holes this team has Tate shouldn't be any kind of priority. Hes not better than N.A...

I really want the Bear WR Robinson or the Tampa WR but they will prob. cost to much....

Yeah Tate isnt a #1, Robinson would be amazing. I would resign NA if possible. But I think tate would be great to bring in on a 1 year to teach the young guys to play the position with some fire. Je has sure hands and fights like a mofo for extra yards

All serious investments should go into the defense and Oline. Ruggs and Edwards need to start and draft a mid round receiver to push them. As much as I’d like Aghlor or some other FA WRs we won’t be able to afford a number one WR if we sign some difference makers to this joke of a defense.

To be honest I don’t remember exactly what he did, but it was a few things. I used to like him for the reasons you mentioned, now he just bugs the shit out of me. He’s got the attitude of Steve Smith without his skills and talent.

Yep.

Raiders have a TE and need to upgrade the receptions made by the RBs. Only 3 WRs get used unless injuries hit.

Tate isn't a top 3 WR on the Raiders. Pass.

OK let's dispel this once and for all. Jacobs had 33 catches last season on 45 targest and only 2 drops so it is not that Jacobs cannot catch the ball, it is a system thing or it is a QB decision thing, not a Jacobs thing. It is either one of those two things, . We target our RBs less than many teams (not because of the RB, as shown above, he can catch the ball and he is not prone to drops) by design and/or our QB selects not to throw to RBs (which on a glance is true for Carr's career) and targets is not a Jacobs issue either. Jacobs caught 73% of the passes thrown his way which is consistent with Carr's completion pecentage.

Carr used to get trashed by fans for dumping off to the RB’s too much and now he’s getting dumped on for not throwing enough to the RB’s? SMH
