packers aren't even getting one first, atleast not this years, maybe one next year.... you are out of your mind if you think a 40 year old rogers is getting packers two 1sts and two 2nd's.... NOT Happening.... all packers care about is not paying him $60 million this year... thats right $60 million this year, 50 million next year. Look it up... he said he will negotiate his contract, but not with the packers,,, so in a previous post showed how if he dropped his price to $45 million he'd only be losing 7.5 million because of the tax savings..... but im with you, i would never give two 1st and two 2nd's, but nobody is going to give him that.... with that contract he might get a 2nd and a player and they'd be happy to get out of that contract.

I will be so done with the Raiders if they go with Rodgers, I don't care what they give up. It's possible they will swap 1st's, send Waller and a 3rd, which is not too much for a bridge qb, but not a 40 year old drama queen. And how hard would he hit our cap? Without pushing money into the future that is. Build the d, draft a qb in later rounds, and draft one next year.

so you would quit being a fan over signing a guy to the roster and this is the guy that would do it? After all the years we have signed guys far worse with far worse trades?

My line in the sand was year 10 of Derek fkn Carr. Aaron Rodgers? Maybe not the route I'd take but he'd be the best we've had at the position since Gannon (maybe better). Chin up man! Watch this offense rocket with another #12!

I usually don’t address these posts,but I’m bored.You would quit being a fan if we got one of the greatest QBs ever,but you were die hard these last nine years when we kept re-signing and trotting out Carr year after year?

I’m like Cabal..I don’t think I’d ever quit being a fan,but if Carr got year ten at that stupid money I was probably going to find other stuff to do on some Sundays.

Rodgers would be the move in light of our history. The last QBs that amounted to anything that we have drafted? Stabler and Beurlein (and Buerlien became good after he left us.)

He gamed through injury on his passing hand and was still making throws.

All that said expecting more than two years out of him is risky IMO. He could maybe go three but just because Brady did doesn’t mean he will last to 45.

If we swing and get him we’re largely “set” on offense, everything else and the kitchen sink into the Defense.

I would feel safe saying we could get two great years out of him.

Yep,his thumb was severely screwed and he still put up Carr numbers with few weapons.
