Rich Hill does not strike fear in anyoneFade2SilverAndBlack wrote Fri Sep 23, 2022 10:53 am:So was I...
I hated when those pricks gave that camera view Judge's last AB that made it look like the ball was a HR. If they would have shown the normal shot everyone could see it was close but not going out. That shot made it look like it was long gone....
I hope #99 can get two tonight....

My channel went blank just as he hit the ball. I thought it was gone. I had to grab my phone to see what happenedFade2SilverAndBlack wrote Fri Sep 23, 2022 10:53 am:So was I...

You draft gurus...with Carr we will probably end up in the same draft area as usual. What would it take to get into the top five if we are around 20?Attyla » Fri Sep 23, 2022 5:19 pm
it would be costly but doable.HesterLayes wrote Fri Sep 23, 2022 5:14 pm:You draft gurus...with Carr we will probably end up in the same draft area as usual. What would it take to get into the top five if we are around 20?
I think Fat Andy gave up two firsts and a third to move up from 27 to ten to get Mahomes

I think he has a no trade clause and I’m not sure if he is that valuable. I think we missed the boat on that one as far as trading him.Attyla wrote Fri Sep 23, 2022 5:19 pm:it would be costly but doable.
Carr plus a first and a conditional pick could conceivably move us from 15 to a top 5 pick. but we would need to have a trade partner who was a vet QB away from a run.
HesterLayes » Fri Sep 23, 2022 5:33 pm
Ok I just looked it up.KC swapped their first round pick(27) a third round pick and the 2018 first rounder for Mahomes.Attyla » Fri Sep 23, 2022 5:33 pm
maybe? I am not sure where we end up. But a QB asked to waive his no trade is a lame duck QB. better to get out where one is not wantedHesterLayes wrote Fri Sep 23, 2022 5:26 pm:I think he has a no trade clause and I’m not sure if he is that valuable. I figure we will be around the 20 range again.to get in the top five I would guess two firsts and two seconds? Just a guess based off of Mahomes

No trade clauses can be waived. He likely would wave it to continue getting a paycheck. If we’re dead set from moving we can cut him with minimal dollars.HesterLayes wrote Fri Sep 23, 2022 5:26 pm:I think he has a no trade clause and I’m not sure if he is that valuable. That sounds about what I had.is one of your proposed firsts a swap?Raidernation1979 wrote Fri Sep 23, 2022 5:35 pm:No trade clauses can be waived. He likely would wave it to continue getting a paycheck. If we’re dead set from moving we can cut him with minimal dollars.
I would say to move from 20 to 5 you’d need 2 firsts, 2 seconds and maybe a third. Someone can pull the value chart and use it but that’s a guess.

Well in essence it has to be. We move up they move down plus the othersHesterLayes wrote Fri Sep 23, 2022 5:38 pm:That sounds about what I had.is one of your proposed firsts a swap?

My guess would be 3 1sts, a 2nd and some mid round picks. The 9ers gave up 3 1sts and a 3rd to move from 12 to 3 for lance. Going from 20 up to that is likely to be more expensive than that though there’s also a reasonably good chance the 9ers grossly over paid.Raidernation1979 wrote Fri Sep 23, 2022 5:35 pm:No trade clauses can be waived. Carr is gonna only allow a trade to a team that wears red jerseys.raiders93 wrote Fri Sep 23, 2022 6:34 pm:My guess would be 3 1sts, a 2nd and some mid round picks. Ideally it’s basically structured as a 3-way trade. We flip Carr to a team like say the saints for a 1st (high teens) and a 3rd. We flip our 1st + saints 1st
+ 2nd + future 1st + future 3rd for a top 3 pick.

I’m not against moving on from Carr. At the same time, I remember the ~15!years of horrible QB play post Gannon before we got him, not to mention the roughly ~ 15 years of poor QB play leading to Gannon, and that was even a different NFL era that wasn’t as QB/offensive friendly.16 to 88 » Fri Sep 23, 2022 10:35 pm
