half the other parks, it is out of there. Rich Hill is next on their rotation, a guy who does not worry me at all. They just do not have the balls to pitch to him so far.FLORIDARAYDAH wrote Fri Sep 23, 2022 6:35 am:Me too. I was hoping Judge ended it in the 9th with a HR. So close

I thought Carr had a no trade clauseRI RAIDER wrote Fri Sep 23, 2022 6:42 am:Z did a great job with DC's contract (affords us the opportunity to trade him, release him, or have him as a mentor). Hopefully he finishes the job and gets us a stud.

he does, that does not mean they cannot have him waive it, it would be his choice though. But if you are asked, do you really want to stay knowing they do not want you?HesterLayes wrote Fri Sep 23, 2022 6:54 am:I thought Carr had a no trade clause

Agreed. Plus if he gets cut he gets virtually nothing. If he gets traded then he likely gets at least another year salary guaranteeAttyla wrote Fri Sep 23, 2022 7:16 am:he does, that does not mean they cannot have him waive it, it would be his choice though. Not at all they are to totally different players Field was more of an athlete probably more comparable to Bryce Young than Stroud using his athleticsHesterLayes wrote Thu Sep 22, 2022 6:34 pm:So what’s everyone think of Stroud.I know it’s not fair, but I keep seeing Fields when I watch him.

I am not a fan of Stroud but nobody can deny his abilities (he can do it all) and the fact that he checks all the boxes. I just read that it takes him on average 2.85 seconds to throw the ball (VERY IMPRESSIVE).raiders93 » Fri Sep 23, 2022 8:47 am
I personally liked fields better though I was admittedly very high on fields. I feel like stroud is more of a pocket passer than he necessarily gets labelled as. While he’s certainly got the athleticism to be more of an off-script guy that doesn’t look like it’s a natural part of his game. He’s got a great arm and his accuracy is impressive but I think his athletic profile is misleading vs the kind of QB he’s been.HesterLayes wrote Thu Sep 22, 2022 6:34 pm:So what’s everyone think of Stroud.I know it’s not fair, but I keep seeing Fields when I watch him.

We'll see how the year plays out, but right now I lean toward Levis. He's not quite as accurate as Young and Stroud and doesn't have the stats they do, but I think his play will translate better than either of the two top guys, and here's why.Jeremyturner1976 » Fri Sep 23, 2022 9:12 am
Same here, if it looked like we could field a contender with Carr it makes sense to stick with him.RaiderCed wrote Fri Sep 23, 2022 8:41 am:Anybody but Carr.....not that I'm a hater of Carr...its just time to move on....He has 9-10 years of average to below average performances.
Its just time to move in a different direction....

At this point, whatever it takes to begin a new chapter in the Book of Raiders is what I want, and that can't happen with Carr being our QB. I hate seeing the team lose too, but dammit, year after year it's "Wait until you see how great Carr is going to play next year!" is as old as a bog-corpse--it's football-death frozen in time.HesterLayes wrote Wed Sep 21, 2022 4:55 pm:The quandary for me is this....
I know Carr will
Never take us to the top.never.
But do we have to shit the bed this year for McD and Z to see we need a new leader? I hate to lose

I'd be fine finishing with whatever record gets us the first pick in the draft. I've NEVER said that before, which shows just how fed up I am with this era in Raider football.

Who, ever the QB is I want him to be a dual threat. No more statues like Carr....Amish Cabal wrote Fri Sep 23, 2022 8:54 am:We'll see how the year plays out, but right now I lean toward Levis. He doesn't have the Bama or Ohio St front line, so he's used to playing under pressure and making positive things happen very quickly. Quick decisions. Good pocket sense. Runs like a banshee and oozes the will to win. You can see it in his play. This might bring injury concerns, but he hasn't been hurt yet. He's got good size and big boned, as others have mentioned is reminiscent of Josh Allen. I think he's another who can play that way and get away with it. Legit dual threat. Natural leader who makes those around him better.
But you know what I REALLY like about him? He eats bananas, peel and all. Says, "I don't fear the brown spots on bananas, they fear me." Dude is just a little bit off kilter. THAT'S A RAIDER BABY!!!
