If you show the post june 1st numbers, his dead money drops to below 2 million. Basically nothing in the NFL.Raiders Baby wrote Mon Sep 26, 2022 9:53 am:The flexibility is good news, but only if we exercise it. Keeping a game manager on the roster at the price he will command post June 1 is a mistake — by cutting him before then, we eat about $8m next year but save $29m, $43m, $43m. If we don’t cut him, we will pay him $35m next year.
Posting a breakdown for reference, I’m sure most posters know the basics of his contract by now but always good to have a reminder. This is a smart contract, but it’s only as smart as the people pulling the strings — we have to exercise our ability to exit, otherwise it’s no different than a more standard contract of similar value3D24547C-46C3-4FBC-81C6-308D99C1F4B8.jpeg

Mahomes scored 17 against an 0-2 team and Herbert scored 10 against Jacksonville. How is scoring less against worse teams better or an improvement.raiders1988xyz wrote Mon Sep 26, 2022 12:37 pm:think how good our offense would be if we have
mahomes
herbert
josh allen
jackson
back there as our quarterback
we would be easily putting up 30+ points
carr can’t

Every QB has a bad games during the course of a season, even Mahomes. But is there any legitimate question as to whether or not hel'll bounce back? No, there isn't.KennyPowers wrote Mon Sep 26, 2022 2:21 pm:Mahomes scored 17 against an 0-2 team and Herbert scored 10 against Jacksonville. until we win one game it is hard to bash the former MVP or a guy who has broken cartilage in his chest.BluegrassRaider » Mon Sep 26, 2022 3:14 pm
Wake us when such becomes typical performances and just not some exception to lean on to hand waive Care's longstanding and all too regular impotence.KennyPowers wrote Mon Sep 26, 2022 2:21 pm:Mahomes scored 17 against an 0-2 team and Herbert scored 10 against Jacksonville. Carr had 2 TDs and 1 INT.
If Waller could CATCH the fucking ball.... that's 4 TDs and 0 INTs.... and most likely a W

I thought Carr was the come from behind master? Or is that only in games that we should’ve won handily?Coloradoraider wrote Sun Sep 25, 2022 8:58 pm:The “D did their job?” They allowed 3 touchdowns in the first 3 possessions.
Game over.

The 50/50 jump ball was a perfect pass from Carr the only place he could have thrown it! Great job pointing that out....not!vtraider wrote Tue Sep 27, 2022 6:34 am:https://youtube.com/watch?v=qPAHpy-GaqE
Pretty good breakdown of the 2 pt conversion attempt. Yes he says Carr under threw the pass. But also that it was tipped. Idk if it was under thrown or just a really good defensive play. They get paid to win too after all
Raider727 » Tue Sep 27, 2022 7:58 am
Still a shitty throw, Carr should have thrown in the back of the endzone over all the defenders.vtraider wrote Tue Sep 27, 2022 6:34 am:https://youtube.com/watch?v=qPAHpy-GaqE

Mc Daniel drew up that shitty play for us! The play call sucked! Titans knew it was coming!Raider727 wrote Tue Sep 27, 2022 7:58 am:Still a shitty throw, Carr should have thrown in the back of the endzone over all the defenders.
Hollins ran a great route and was getting open, but Carr was probably going to Waller no matter what.
I think it was a dumbass play call by McDaniels though.

I don't know why people on this board aren't full of more bias about Carr than others. How dare you be fair and reasonable. No this loss wasn't on Carr. Period. The first one, yes. Second one, no.Attyla wrote Sun Sep 25, 2022 1:19 pm:he did not cost us the game, some really bad drops killed us

2nd game Carr was way off in the 2nd half, but I blame McDaniels for continuing to pass when the Raiders had a big lead.trdaddy wrote Tue Sep 27, 2022 8:06 am:I don't know why people on this board aren't full of more bias about Carr than others. Exactly. No one attacks a Raider player who has a bad game more than Carrstans. Not only that but they look around the league waiting for a good QB to have a bad game and celebrate it. It's as if they watch the NFL looking for anything to happen to make their QB look good...no matter what he has actually done that week. It is sad.Opoponax50 wrote Mon Sep 26, 2022 1:59 pm:And that's one of the most important reasons why I want him gone. They're happy with his stats, which is their #1 priority. Maybe even worse, it makes them feel justified in tearing apart a rock solid player like Renfrow or Waller when they have a less than great game. It just stinks to high hell.
I have a begrudging respect for people who are simply cheerleaders. No matter how the team is doing, they're going to bust out the pom-poms and cheer. By extension they'll support whomever is under center. That's cool because they're fans of the team and when Carr moves on they'll still be here and they'll start cheering for the next Raider QB.
But Carr fans? To loosely quote the movie Becket, "Will no one rid me of these meddlesome Carrstans?"
