Do you fall in the category of wanting Gruden back?
I’d say they’re playcalling is a push,but they were/are both saddled with Carr and his deficiencies.
If Gruden would had a guy like Z and kept his nose out of drafting i would be fine with him.
Gruden was unfairly targeted so I hope he gets payback.
2018: 4-12
2019: 7-9
2020: 8-8
2021: 3-2
Sure the team is 0-3 under McDaniels but it's a competitive 0-3. That 4-12 season was ghastly with 8 games where opposing teams put up 30+ points on the Raiders and four games where they scored 6 points or less (3, 3, 3, 6). The worst part is that his drafting was considerably worse than his coaching. Only a sick bastard would pine for Gruden.
To be fair to the guy, he did build a better team during his time here and I don't like the way he ended up losing his job. But the late season collapses coupled with his undying commitment to Carr guaranteed we'd never seriously contend for a Super Bowl. Oh, and the draft picks. Good god, the draft picks.
