hey, seattle's problem now.

i hope the new lv regime emphasizes tackling and fundamentals over hard hitters moving forward.

Whatever
The guy had 3 DCs in 4 years. Went from Guenthers BS to Bradleys cover 2 zone to Graham's complicated scheme.

I dont wonder why he didn't progress.
Players progress at a higher rate under one thought or scheme. The friggin guy was mentally all over the place
Ya keep fucking w their head....

Thanks for your service and good luck.

Probably promised Carroll a kick-back on a percentage of his salary.

Carroll really gets the most out of his guys, they love him and play hard for him. Under rated in my opinion.

Seattle runs cover 3 which is literally one of the first defenses you learn in high school. There’s nothing for him to learn.

Abram was as good last year under Bradley as he'll ever be. He should be able to play like that under Carroll, but it's still not good enough to be more than a marginal NFL player. What's the over-under on when he first injures a teammate?

The only thing I can really give him is that he does play hard. He’s just not good at anything.Gruden didn’t ruin this team because we sucked anyway, but he sure put the recovery time back several years.

He will be out of the league. You need to have adequate cover skills. He had zero coverage skills coming out of Mississippi State. Yet a 1st round pick was wasted on him anyway.

I thought Carroll moved away from the Cover 3?

Tackling and ball skills
good point. i grew up seeing lester hayes getting pick after pick. can't remember the last time raiders had a ball hawk in the secondary besides the woodsons. nmandi was great but opposing qb's didn't throw his way

Would this kid have been a 1st rounder if we didn’t draft him there?

Seemed more like another Karl Joseph situation than anything. Hard hitting safety out of college, came back into the league with some hype, and then laid an egg on performance.
