I honestly think they really liked Leatherwood. I know it seems like they reached for the position. I don't think they did. I think they thought he was good enough to be picked there no matter what.

I'll sacrifice a few spots to end the season on a high note and give oneself a better feeling going into next season.

i want to see the young players make meaningful contributions and solidify their spots moving forward...gives the team less holes to fill in the offseason.

the big win is...i certainly feel much better that gruden is nowhere near the draft room this year

Absolutely bro, completely agree. I was salivating over a potential top five pick, but I am so relieved that the team has not given up, and that we could go into next year on a high note. And damn if it ain't the best thing in life (regardless of what Conan says ) to watch the Raiders win.

The current group is playing better but it's still not a highly talented OL and improvements can be made. DL, OL, and secondary should be the main focus IMO.
