Even with Young and Stroud gone? Who would you pick?

25 years old with a current no contact ACL injury and a history of injury. People miscategorize some players as injury prone, but the ones that invite injuries via their playing style are the ones that are truly injury prone (Tua, RG3) and I'm afraid Hooker is in that category. He runs like a baby Giraffe.

Levis or Richardson. And, if we ended up with a high pick next year, I would take a swing at one of the QBs next year. At some point we have to hit on a QB.

Browns been drafting 1st round QB's for decades and haven't hit yet.

2000 Tim Couch
2007 Brady Quinn
2012 Branden Weeden
2018 Baker Mayfield (1st overall)

These are 1st round busts and the list doesn't include other shots at QB such as Colt McCoy in the 3rd round. I guess at least the Browns are trying.

Yeah, I'm starting to like Hendon Hooker more and more as a prospect. We can get him in the second or third round.

6'4
Deadly accuracy
Goes through his progressions
Grinded his way to the top, went from nothing to just shy of a Heisman finalist

The reason that Richardson is being talked about as high is he is is due to his arm talent. If the arm talent wasn't there, he'd be looked at like a late round pick with elite athleticism that maybe a QB coach could mold.

I agree with you on highlight videos so check this out, these are condensed games so you can watch the game in it's entirety in less than a half hour.

This is the game that a lot of people consider to be his best game this season (Utah). Makes some great throws. Shows good command.:

Now on the flip, here's the USF game:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T47Nu4Rnoj8

My opinion his worst game, topped off with one of the worst redzone fade attempts I've ever seen. 99% positive my fat ass could've thrown a better ball.

The talent is there. The problem I'm having with him is that the overall issue with him is consistency. I can't say that 1 specific route is an issue because on occasion he nails it and then on another occasion, he messes it up terribly. But he's made some throws that Pryor could never in a million years make. Plus (and members of the old forum that received the free t-shirt will understand), Richardson can roll to the left.
After watching the first video I dont want him anymore. His handoffs are telegraphed and his throwing release is slow. I vote no on richardson.

I just want a player that's good enough to get his 5th year option and then given an extension.

I mean, a lot more goes into than that. But the fact that you just watched a game and formed an opinion on something other than a highlight reel puts you ahead of the curve!

highlight reels are the absolute worst way to evaluate talent

I’ve watched the both last college season & just don’t see top10 pucks in them

Him & Levis are extremely raw in fact they might be 2 of the rawest QB prospect i’ve ever seen that are being talked about in the top ten

Both have high ceiling but very low floors & most likely need a couple of years to really flourish

As far as QB’s go this draft got turned on it’s head with all the guys going back to school it went from a strong QB draft to a weak one so i’d wait till next year to get our guy in what should be a very strong year for QB’s

What we’ve seen with the Raiders is us picking either low ceiling that just do what they were supposed to do but don’t move the needle or high ceiling guys that never even scratch the surface
