People are going to fall over themselves for Caleb Williams, but unless we are picking #1 we ain’t getting him.
Eliminating the little dudes, as i don't want a small QB, as that makes that gamble even a bigger one at that position, a guy like Stroud is one of the few i did see regularly, and i wouldn't move up for him. If he fell to 7 and they were sold on him, so be it, but not by trading additional picks for a guy who, other than the last game against Georgia, didn't show me much at all, to make me think that he will excel at the next level, and despite having a boatload of talent around him.
We can, and NEED to do some serious work filling homes with talent, with our picks, THIS YEAR, or we aren't going anywhere any time soon. Hoping we can add to our haul with a Carr trade, which would give some added flexibility, but we need to build the team first, and can do a LOT this off season with the resources that we have.
Some team might be catfished on his performance playing flag football.
And of course do we get anything for Carr? Do we trade off another piece?
So many exciting questions to be answered. I think until we get through the bulk of free agency we really do not know what #7 even looks like. Obviously, the QB situation needs answered, but in FA we could load up that defense a bit and maybe that piece on the line. If we do that, then the draft becomes a whole different animal. I am just hopeful they have a plan and are waiting anxiously to implement it out the gate. Come hard after it. Get that value pick for Carr and start showing their hand a bit.
But this off season will be drastically different than any in the last 6 years or so. No more arguments about whether we move on or not on Carr. That argument is settled. Now it is all about what we do next. And of course we will circle back every time our QB has a bad game or every time Carr has a good game. We have not seen the last of the player fans.
I know DT, LB, and OT (G) are positions we need a dog type player.
Trade Carr and #7 to the Colts for #4 and later round pick. Would be nice to get Carter.
I read where teams aren’t that high on Murphy as many seem to be because his lack of a motor and the recent busts Clemson has put out at DE.
They said unlike Bama,Clemson tends to put out all sunshine and rainbows when talking about their kids and don’t share the negatives.
Their skill position players,mainly WR have been legit over the years and the couple QBs are legit.
Couple good DT’s,but they are right on the DE’s .They have been ass.

Weeks ago I stated that I believe it should be QB or trade down, but IF we were to pick a player at that spot, my chose would be Wilson.
