I'm not "anti Hooker", I don't prefer him to three other QBs in the draft that aren't old and injured.

we'll never see eye to eye on qb's, but it's good to see that we can find common ground in other areasDark Horse wrote Fri Mar 24, 2023 11:03 am:He took a fat L....but his wife is still fine af so he wins in the end.eric-musselman-wife-danyelle.jpg

Really?That's a pretty broad statement.
But yeah, bro is winning.

I like Wilson but don’t like passing on Levis. Levis is gonna be a damn good one. As long as his work ethic is as advertised. Not a big Hooker fan. Think a few of his skills are a bit too slow (the QB diagnosing attributes) & not too good in anticipation throws.Dark Horse wrote Fri Mar 24, 2023 2:50 pm:This is one interesting 4 round mock! I personally don't see the Colts making the move for AR-15, though I'm not certain. I must say, the picks that the Raiders come away with in this is pretty damn good.

No they can’t. I disagree with this. RB need solid olines to be good. They make RB’s better. RB’s do not make olines better…at all. Or QB’s or even WR’s. At least not close to the way those other positions can make things so much easier on RB’s. I’m not saying RB’s are worthless. I love me a top RB. But they are just nowhere near the worth of almost all the other positions on the field. Offense or defense. So therefore, there’s no argument that anyone can make that justifies a RB in the 1st ahead of another really good prospect at another position.Jeevo wrote Fri Mar 24, 2023 8:04 am:I agree. However true elite backs on rookie deals can carry offenses for years and free up money and decisions for elsewhere in the meantime. They can also have an immediate, team changing effect like few other positions, maybe only QB, can have. If we were guaranteed 4 years of production like what Henry has been the last few I'd think pretty hard about it.
Again, I do agree though.

I kind of thought that it was obvious that a great back couldn't do it all alone. Kind of like every other position, they need help and can't win by themselves. I mean Jacobs carried us at times the last two years but we all know that others actually helped as well.MexicanHulk wrote Fri Mar 24, 2023 9:29 pm:No they can’t. I disagree with this. RB’s cannot carry an offense on their own, much less for years. They still need good olinemen. An elite RB with a bad oline, bad WR “core” & bad QB (like the Raiders have had for years), will still be an overall bad offense. Really bad (like the Raiders have been)…outside of a couple seasons where, the QB & WR play was good

Yes but, my point is that RB is a position that could least do that for your team. & no matter what, is still one of, if not, the easiest to replace with good value. Which in turn, is the reason why you never draft a RB in the first, over top prospects at other positions (CB, QB, DE, DT, OT, etc). So someone trying to say otherwise, is just wrong, no matter how good they twist it. The argument may have sounded great but, it’s still best to go another route, by a landslide.Jeevo wrote Fri Mar 24, 2023 9:52 pm:I kind of thought that it was obvious that a great back couldn't do it all alone. We've all seen great backs and what they can do and I just can't agree that you can never take one if there's a really good prospect at literally any other position available.

Talking in absolutes like you do is beyond laughable. Yes, there is position value, but if the talent and the need is there, it could make sense to draft the player.MexicanHulk wrote Fri Mar 24, 2023 11:08 pm:Yes but, my point is that RB is a position that could least do that for your team. & no matter what, is still one of, if not, the easiest to replace with good value. Even tho great RB’s are awesome & fun to watch.
