After today we are at pick 9 I believe.

I like to win and I think they are fighting for McD and Z so I expect this to be lower...

But if the season ended today. What would you do at nine?

I would go Joey Porter Jr. Cornerback Penn State

ringo's going to be the first db off the board.

you can trade down a few [few] spots out of 9 and possibly still get porter jr

i'd prefer d-line but at 9 no way you get jalen carter and i don't want to trade up for anybody. too many holes to fill to trade up

This team needs help up front not at cb. No way should they be drafting a cb with their first pick.

I can update it after each week if you’d like and change the title.

I’m just a draft guy and Al’s room is dead

D line is more dire but if the best player is a CB that is a difference maker you take him especially if the alternative is reaching desperately for the next D line guy on your list that is meh just to check that box.

If you are flipping a coin then fill need but otherwise talent and let future self figure out how to fill slots since that was all that was really happening anyway.

this also. d-line is a big need but if the right d-line value is not there at #9, and there is a better defensive bpa available like kelee ringo, you take it. otherwise you are reaching for need. cle ferrell anyone?

nothing wrong with posting your question each week. it makes for good conversation besides the usual stuff...beats the hell out of 'i love carr/i hate carr depending on what day it is' threads

Trenton Simpson for me he is a do it all LB who’ll help in all facets of the game think Micah Parsons but not Micah Parsons as he is is his own man

In the 2nd go for DE Felix Anudike-Uzimah keep Jones & let the young huy learn of a guy like Jones ala Mack/Tuck

For me go all out for Daron Payne & re-sign Billings & Tillery try let Farrell & Butler develop some

As for CB go after Jamel Dean from Tampa he is a good CB who plays zone, re-sign Yan Sin. Our starting CB would be Dean, Ya-Sin & Hobbs with Robertson & Webb as backup i might even re-sign Averrett but only for use as a depth guy

Guys on every level that can help the team although we’ll still need more help at S &LB

Not if Billings plays like this the rest of the season.

I do want to pair Trace Ford next to Billings though. Man o man the possibilities.

Daron Payne, Billings & Tillery with Farrell & Butler developing behind them would do me next year spend that 1st round pick on a defensive need
