Predicting lottery numbers is so much more disappointing because when you're wrong, you can't still claim you were right. Unlike predictions about football, where it's easy to come up with a warped narrative that you can claim validates your original prediction - even if everything points to your original view being wrong.Willmark wrote Thu Jan 11, 2024 7:37 am:With so many people predicting the future, care to share the winning lottery numbers?

You forgot about simply ignoring things you’ve said repeatedly with a “I never said that.”chucker wrote Thu Jan 11, 2024 10:33 am:Predicting lottery numbers is so much more disappointing because when you're wrong, you can't still claim you were right. We can add to that people who "guarantee" a hypothetical, i.e. "If Mark had kept Rich B instead of hiring McDaniels, I GUARANTEE we would have made the playoffs in 2022!"Dark Horse » Thu Jan 11, 2024 12:45 pm
So if you sustain a quad injury as a RB, you're a cunt? And if you sustain a quad injury, that means you "dogged it?" Some your agendas are comical.KillerRaider30 wrote Wed Jan 10, 2024 11:52 am:Jacobs dogged the year like I said he would.

He was useless as a receiverTallMarvin wrote Wed Jan 10, 2024 8:41 pm:i definitely want a kaufman type on the team. man it was great seeing him get the ball and take it 80 to the house - full speed no one could catch him, and it looked like he was walking

Agree with most of this especially that Jacobs can juke a guy and let plays develop as well as turning a negative into a gain...Jacobs is still the best back on the team hands down imo despite what the numbers say...That said I'd be ok in letting Jacobs walk if the price was too high...Would love to have a talented RB with breakway speed,Jacobs is good but he isn't a burner.NoClapsPlease wrote Sun Dec 31, 2023 7:29 am:The problem is Zeus will hit the assigned gap whether the hole is there or not, while Jacobs lets the blocks develop and gives the play its maximum potential
Jacobs is the far more talented and effective back that can change the game
Zeus is a cool fill in, but he’s not going to make a negative run turn into 6 or 7 consistently like Jacobs
Teams aren’t keying in on Zeus like they are with Jacobs either. Teams have been shifting their attention to Adams more since Jacobs has been out. If Jacobs is out again today, expect the passing game to suffer again.
The chargers game was an anomaly given the ridiculous field position the defense kept getting us.
We’ll see what happens today, but this team gets weaker by letting Jacobs go. Pay the man and stop being cheap when you got underperformers like renfrow getting paid like a star receiver.

There are people in this world with an exaggerated sense of their own toughness. They want professional athletes to "tough it out" through injuries that would send them crying home to mommy.Dark Horse wrote Thu Jan 11, 2024 12:45 pm:So if you sustain a quad injury as a RB, you're a cunt? he had a disappointing year for sure. All of them do from time to time. But injuries at that position are common and can be nagging and long lasting.Sir Raider Duck, OMS wrote Thu Jan 11, 2024 1:02 pm:There are people in this world with an exaggerated sense of their own toughness. He was my favorite RB for the Raiders. He reminded me alot of Barry Sanders because he was always a threat to take it to the house no matter where we were on the field. Both guys retired way too early. I almost wonder if Jacobs got slower this season with all of his body building during the off season, squatting like 700 lbs or whatever it was.TallMarvin wrote Wed Jan 10, 2024 8:41 pm:i definitely want a kaufman type on the team. man it was great seeing him get the ball and take it 80 to the house - full speed no one could catch him, and it looked like he was walking

What makes it easier then picking the lotto numbers is just point out pretty much any football player and say I don't think he's very good and odds are you will be right. Then you can come on here and pontificate your football acumen ad nauseam.chucker wrote Thu Jan 11, 2024 10:33 am:Predicting lottery numbers is so much more disappointing because when you're wrong, you can't still claim you were right. Kaufman was fun to watch for sure, but here’s the thing over his career, you know how many rushing TDs he had?rich72 wrote Thu Jan 11, 2024 6:55 pm: He was my favorite RB for the Raiders.
