I posted a college thread a long time ago and I’m too lazy to go back and find it..sorry,forum police

Taking a break from the Carr/Brady/other talk…

Who is your squad? How long have you followed them?Favorite all-time player? Prospects for ‘23?


As some of you know,I’m a Mizzou guy.Been following since around the super early 80’s.First game I can remember was the Holiday Bowl I think where we played BYU and Young threw a pass or pitched it to someone and they threw back to him for a TD and a victory.

We have had some decent teams over the years and put out some good NFL talent believe it or not.Winslow was probably our best,but my favorite was a QB out of Ohio,Brad Smith.

We played Georgia better than anyone this year and legit should have won.Prospects for ‘23…we have a solid D and one of the best WRs in the country(Luther Burden).Our coach is a top recruiter,but a poor OC so we finally got one this year out of Boise and it will be exciting.If we get any kind of QB play this year we will have a nice season and could shock Georgia in the SEC East

I'm not a "fanatical" fan, and never followed them quite like the Raiders, but I've always favored USC. LOTS of great players but my fave, of course, is Marcus Allen.

It ruins the game TBH. I cut down big time and no longer do fantasy. Young is a STUD and will one day most likely join the young studs in the AFC (unfortunately it will not be with us).

I know he can’t make himself taller,but he said he is seeing a nutritionist and wants to get around 210.He’s a tough SOB anyway and far from fragile,but that will help him

I really do not care about his height. He can do it all and really has no weaknesses. Tommy House (who is the ultimate QB guru) loves this kid. I heard this from the family of one of his clients (he is also a big time pitching coach and thats why they employ him).

People talk about the QB class next year and it’s nice,but I don’t want to suck again next year.Trade up and get the kid.F’ it

No I never did go to an SC game, even though I grew up out there. If I went to a game it was always Raiders. I figure '23 will be a lot like '22, good offense with great QB play (hope we can somehow land Caleb), but horrendous defense. Maybe the D can improve but I won't hold my breath.

Yeah,Riley isn’t exactly known for his D lol.Utah will be tough,Oregon,and Washington looks super legit

Been a Raider and USC fan since 1967. I hope we can get the defense squared away this year and finally beat Utah.

Huge USC Trojan Fan.....

I wish some how the Raiders can get Caleb Williams next year, but not likely.

USC defense is like the Raiders defense... Trash....so I'm not sure what our outlook is.
