I dislike a few of the remaining teams(Tennessee,Bama,etc), but I’d love to see a Princeton or Houston win it for different reasons

When I was at KState, we had the worst football program in D1. A few years after I left they literally went 0 for the year with a tie to Kansas. Penthouse Mag used to rank the worst D1 teams in the nation and they put us and Kansas tied for #1 worst in the nation. I was working in Wichita at that time and my best friend was my roommate. He saw the article in the local paper mentioning the ranking so we had to go buy it to read the article. We were serious trash. But that is around the time Mitch Richmond was at the university on the basketball team and we had a good run in the tourney because of him.

This team is playing lights out right now, no quit in them. I actually picked them to win it all in honor of my friend and my brother in law, both whom passed within days of each other last year. Maybe they nudged that tipped ball that sealed the win last night?

Going back to your KSU info… fans for the most part are respectful,but they are a semi-rival for me.Nowhere near KU though…and some of the SEC teams(Arkansas) are creeping in and replacing the old big 8 rivals for me.

You guys lost some talent this year.How you going to be? We play around game 3-4 or so.

Football will be solid, not fantastic and we played way over our head last year. Bama beat the crap outta us. Our final ranking of 14 is probably where we should have been all along. I think we will be top 20 but I do not see us in the hunt for the conference.

As for this tourney, we again are playing out of our mind, and again no way we should be in the great 8, but the number of upsets in this has been staggering. Florida Atlantic is a great story, but we need to shut them down. And I want Bama to win so we can extract our revenge.

yea, but we seem to find ways to fill in. The program has spent years pillaging JuCo's to find those gems that fit in the program. It is how Snyder was able to make us respectable and we continue on that path quite a bit. We will be solid, not great but solid is good enough to do some damage.
