This isnt a thread on whether of not you think linebackers are important. Which obviously they are and if you dont think so, you are wrong. But thank you for participating.
Our LB corps suck. Its that easy. How do we make them not suck? We add good Linbackers .
The same people that think linebackers are unimportant are the same people that want flashy running QBs. The game isnt about the game, its about flashy fantasy stats and the latest Madden update. I get it, you like shiny things. Bit no matter what espn says, linbackers are still important to a good defense.

Maybe you forgot, but you said if you were the GM you'd spend 3 high picks on linebackers and that we "wouldn't like it." If you knew that, why get mad now?

Because LB has been a 20 year consistent dumpster fire and looks ridiculously thin once again. The other positions while I'll state have overall been weak for this same time period, they've both had moments for sure. There are needs along the entire D. Yes, the LB unit needs an influx of talent, no debate. So does the DL and the secondary. I don't think any of us are in disagreement. Just that many of us are concerned about the entire D and well, that is going to be reflected in our posts even if this particular thread is focusing on LB.

The Eagles, who almost broke the sack record? All you did was name teams that had good linebackers. I want good linebackers as well. But those defenses don't just have linebackers only and they don't pour a significant portion of their resources into acquiring LBers. That's the only point I am making.
