LMAO, look what I wrote about San Fran while you were writing this!! Burks is no where near the level of the other two.GUYDON wrote Thu Mar 23, 2023 8:48 am:49ers had the #1 defense they had Burks, Warner and Greenlaw at LBer... all rated in the 80s. Coincidence? I think not. You want a good defense you need good linebackers. I have to wonder about anyone who would argue against have 3 stud linebackers.

I believe a lot of people are overlooking Robert Spillane. I believe he's going to be a solid contributor and wear the green dot. I would have loved to have seen Perrymen come back and have added some other guys but Spillane is a solid get he's just gotta work on his pass coverage skills.Jeevo » Thu Mar 23, 2023 9:12 am
He hasn't taken a snap in over 40 years.Mmanick wrote Thu Mar 23, 2023 9:05 am:I would have loved to have seen Peterman ...

Lol, core can mean more than that, but I agree with Chucker and you, it was always "corps".Dark Horse wrote Thu Mar 23, 2023 9:14 am:PREACH
The $hit is linebacker corps, not coreWTF, do linebackers have a molten metal core like the earth? Are we talking about a Tootsie Pop?

I feel that 'corpse' should also be allowed when discussing Raider linebackers.Attyla wrote Thu Mar 23, 2023 9:18 am:can also refer to the "core" group or the foundation. But corps would be preferred

Burks is still a 79.9 grade, better than anything we have on the roster right now.Dark Horse wrote Thu Mar 23, 2023 9:01 am:LMAO, look what I wrote about San Fran while you were writing this!! One guy I KNOW can play at a high level is Calvin Pace and he can like be had in the 4th.

You could also argue that their secondary is not that good, but they don’t get exposed because of their top notch Front 7.GUYDON wrote Thu Mar 23, 2023 8:48 am:49ers had the #1 defense they had Burks, Warner and Greenlaw at LBer... all rated in the 80s. I love LB play as well, but in reality you only need two.Dark Horse » Thu Mar 23, 2023 3:28 pm
Facts. It's important to get a Day 2 guy who is top of the position draft class who can start and they have to be able to play the middle and play a role on 3rd down. Campbell or Sewell, but Sanders ahead of both should he slide. Coming back around as early as our 2nd 3rd rounder, Pace, Henley, Herbig, Pappoe, Miller.Mmanick wrote Thu Mar 23, 2023 9:05 am:I believe a lot of people are overlooking Robert Spillane. Id be happy with one LB that doesn't suck!BoJacksonRules » Thu Mar 23, 2023 3:38 pm
Agreed, but I think Masterson might be that guy this year. Hopefully we’ll get another in the draft.
