Raiders Sign Marginal 34 Year Old DT

This seems like an "in case" type of signing.

In case, the draft does no go as planned and we fail to sign a backup DT in the 7th round OR in case we have a rash of injuries in preseason....we have this guy that at least brings some experience as a backup DT.

I have not seen the contract but expect him to be nothing more than camp fodder unless, of course, things go awry. He should be the backup plan to the backup.

I think they want an experienced vet to help Neil Farrell along

Was an elite run defender.Big boy and familiar with Graham.Older than I like,but can play run downs and teach Farrell.

It's what FA is for, fill the needs, increase the floor. So you can go for talent in the draft not positions

I wish we could've done a do over on the whole of last year. Should've done the start of the restart then. Not tried to build on that team.

Kept the picks, no Chandler Jones. Traded away Carr for more capital, Waller too. Maybe even Renfrow would've got a second round pick. I think they wanted too but, scared of what the fans would have thought
