I am beginning to think we just have not had good coaching for a long time in addition to making poor draft decisions.
Not sure if a DE needs 9 seasons to be properly evaluated?
Wilson struggled mightily for a second straight week, putting up a team-low 39.2 overall grade. He failed to record any pressure on 22 pass-rush snaps and had four negatively graded run-defense snaps while also missing a tackle. Wilson repeatedly failed to get off blocks from Dion Dawkins and the Bills’ tight ends.
For a team in position to take gambles and draft developmental players that need years to get going, we sure love picking them.

Seems on brand for the Raiders… 4 years away from being 4 years away. Which is why I said he would get an indoctrination by NFL OTs starting in week 1. I think that happens to any supposed top tier DE. He isn't being neutralized because he is getting double all that time, because he isn't. He just playing stupidly with not power. He is running inside and QBs are making him look like a complete fool by waiting for him to do so and rolling outside.rich72 wrote Sun Sep 17, 2023 7:49 pm:The other team knows Wilson sucks so they are throwing everything but the kitchen sink at Crosby. Same with Tre Tucker, had a long run yesterday which showed his elite speed but has 0 receptions so far. He should have had abut Garoppolo under threw it.
These are the Raiders top 3 picks and they haven't been involved or have had any impact so far.
Mayer is supposed to be ready and players like Tucker make immediate impacts when involved because you can't teach speed. Look at Addison with the Vikings making plays already because of his speed.
Don't get me going with the Raiders 4th round pick in O’Connell which has been showing all training camp and preseason he is the #2 QB but has been inactive for 2 weeks. Hoyer is garbage period!

Looks like he didnt want to leave a wide open running lane for a dual threat QB. I dont have twitter so I cant read any of the responses on there. It looks akward sure but whats he supposed to do in that situation? Maybe he could have went for a sack I guess, but that lane was wide open and forced JA out of the pocket.

Didn't expect Jones to be almost gone but once again we’re rushing another rookie who isn't ready yet, i fully didn't expect to see Wilson in his entirety until the mid season
