The get off is what’s really concerning imo. He loses a lot of reps right at the snap and of course there’s just no threat of him getting the corner when the tackle is 4 yards deep before Wilson gets out of his stance.Raider727 wrote Mon Nov 20, 2023 4:17 pm:He looks like he's doing walk-throughs effort wise on GameDay.

Anyone watching Carter playing tonight for Eagles?raiders93 wrote Mon Nov 20, 2023 5:30 pm:The get off is what’s really concerning imo. Technique and explosiveness aside - you’re not startable with a get off that bad.

Wow, that's fantastic! Jalen Carter bullrushing his way through an offensive lineman with no technique and not getting the sack. Same thing Tyree Wilson has been getting ripped all season for.

Kind of like when we drafted the LT for a decade and ended up moving him to guard where he was serviceable for a while and then cut loose? R. Gallery. No, moving him inside probably won't work because those interior linemen thrive on energy and drive taking on the inside mess with gusto. Wilson has no gusto. No more foot excuses -- OK, he doesn't have to play like Howie Long, but he needs to some us something!Raider727 wrote Mon Nov 20, 2023 10:24 pm:Chris Jones is 6'6 310
I'm now interested in Wilson putting on weight and hitting the weight room hard this off-season. He's listed at 275, if he can put on 25lbs and move to the inside maybe he will improve because he doesn't have to focus on setting the edge or containment and can just focus on blowing up the middle with his size and power.

How did you come to that determination, Dr. Hubbard?RunOverByHubbard wrote Mon Nov 20, 2023 10:34 pm:No more foot excuses

Arik Armstead or DeForest Buckner might be far better comparisonsRaider727 wrote Mon Nov 20, 2023 10:24 pm:Chris Jones is 6'6 310

Wasn't trying to make a comparison player wise only height, but yes Armstead is a better comparison build wise.CWood24 wrote Tue Nov 21, 2023 2:29 am:Arik Armstead or DeForest Buckner might be far better comparisons
I said it at the start of the season that watching him that he might be a far better fit inside than out like Armstead & Buckner were, there are things you see he does that would easily translate & work on the interior
I’d love to draft T’Vondre Sweat pair him with a bulked up Wilson in the interior & Crosby outside, that might be what we need to get our secondary going even more

Koonce is having a solid season but it took him a couple of seasons to gain traction. Hopefully Wilson will have a good uptick in his second season. Too early to declare a bust but he will have to show improvement next season.signal » Tue Nov 21, 2023 9:35 am
I would like to see Wilson play angry.
