If Chubb didn't go down they were going to go down. They were huffing and puffing being on the field all night and not being able to stop it. This is what we need to do. They currently sit dead last in the league being able to stop the run.
The Bills spanking was not a good look. That said, if they can rebound and show signs that they can impose their will against a tough team this weekend, then it will become much easier to turn the page on last week's debacle.
We got rid of possibly the softest player in the league, but am looking for signs that this team is still not soft.
Hell, when is the whole franchise going to start swinging back. I know a lot of these players can say that they've only been here for a year or two so they have nothing to do with the previous teams, but I'd say you're here now and you still suck ass. When are each and every one of them going to start to make a difference on this team? Not a game here and there but consistently. When are they going to take it personally to bring this franchise out of the ashes?
I think one problem is that all of these players don't care about that awesome and beautiful uniform that they get to wear as much as we do.
We are not gashing anyone.
There is no chance of us going down field, so they just keep everyone close to the line and there is no where for a RB to go.
This team is in big trouble. I think they get handled by the steelers.
The last great defensive game the Raiders played where they dominated was the last game of the season against the Chiefs in 2000 and fucking 10. If you remember that day, it was glorious, it reminded you of the old Raiders. It worked so well we blew the Chiefs out, learning never to do that again.

That was the last dominant defensive game we played and before that probably something in 2002.
That is absolutely amazingly ridiculous, we had one dominant defensive performance in the past 13 year possibly 20 years, fml. This is what people who make a living talking about teams should focus on, wtf is going on here?
We'll trot out some passive ass D once again. How can we just keep drafting talent-less and dumb players? A: We aren't, it's our DC and stability. We'll watch many other teams adjusting their game plan, their pressure packages to speed up the QB's clock. Raiders, lets try that basic 4 man rush once again, lets just try the same-ole one more time, lets trade punches with them one more time.
So far this season more of the same, pouty eyed Graham can take his passive ass back to where he came from.
For now I am going say they are "protecting" him. Hoyer is an automatic loss, he stinks.
The staff saw the same thing we saw from O'Connell. He looks ready. He looks more than ready. The coaching nstaff have hoyer as 2nd string is the same jackassery we always see with this team.
I think they know If Jimmy went down, and O'Connell came in, we would never see Jimmy again. But if hoyer goes out and stinks it up we will be clamoring for Jimmy to come back.
I have no faith in any decision this team makes. Seems like every choice makes us that much worse.

Our star rb had negitive yards on Sunday. That had never happened before, a former rushing leader having negitive yards in a game... but it did on Sunday. I cannot get over how our defense just keeps doing similar things for decades with different DC's. The only one I thought made a difference at some level was Gus Bradley, he got the passive defense to preform, then coaching change, he left, took players that made plays with him. AOC has been inactive every game so far. If Jimmy G goes down they’re rolling with Hoyer which tells me they’re not serious about winning and perhaps don’t really view AOC as next up. O'Connell was the best looking rookie qb I saw in the preseason around the NFL.
