Aside from our record, the Raiders have a ton to offer a perspective head coach:
> top 5 practice facility
> top 5 stadium
> there is talent on this team
> Club will have about $120.0mm to spend in free agency and even more with some roster/contract manipulation if need be
> Hopefully, no worse than a top 3 pick

I wouldn't count Johnson or anyone else out. for all its faults, the club will spend money, and we have the advantage of no state tax.

When Sarkisian interviewed he brought Kiffin with him as he wanted Kiffin as his OC if he took the job. Kiffin made a good impression with Al and when Sarkisian withdrew his name from consideration Kiffin was more or less the fall back option.

At first Al wanted Kiffin to be the OC for whatever coach he hired, Kiffin balked and said he would only be interested in the head coaching position.
