If the Jets really want Adams & Rodgers really wants him in NY then i’d trade him with all the fuss the Jets have made about him then i think we could leverage their 1st

Use that to draft Jayden Daniels then use our own 1st to draft T’Vondre Sweat, spend our 2nd, 3rd & 4th on OL & D

I'd be all in for this but just out of curiosity, would you take Sweat over Newton? Or are you expecting Newton to be gone by that point.

The J-E-T-S would be smart to want Adams. Presuming Rodgers comes back next year it will be a one shot chance for them at a trip to the bowl.

Mr ego turning the clubhouse against the HC with all his off field antics.

Not a radio show or podcast, or video he won't represent himself.

I really wanted to make a run at this guy during FA....WTF was I thinking.....

I think the Raiders would be on the hook for 40 million if they traded Adams. But if it could get the Jets one I would do it...

I’m also in the boat of trading Adams for a 1st. Shoulda never traded for him. While the trade isn’t a bust, Adams is worth that value, just not for this team at the time. He’s a great teammate, great for the locker room &, a great player overall. WR just isn’t as valuable as some other positions &, costs too much towards the cap.

All this is moot tho. He’s not getting traded. He chose to come here so, there’s next to zero chance he gets traded.

Sweat for me is the best DT in this draft alot of people are talking 2nd round for him but i 100% think he rises into too 15 contention by the time the combine is finished

I don't think we need to replace Adams as we have Meyers, Renfrow, Mayer, Jacobs (if we sign him) & we could grab a guy like Tee Higgins or Michael Pittman as the could hit FA

Instead of having our HOF WR we would get our franchise QB, a possible difference maker at DT & a receiver rotation where we don't HAVE to get one guy his numbers like we seem to have to do with Adams

Meh, the Jets take over his contract, and in the trade require they also recoup Adams bonus money to the Raiders. Take it or leave it.

His contract is trade leverage either way. If we’re willing to eat a lot of Adams deal maybe we get a little more.

I still think it’s a moot point… I think we’re way over estimating Adams trade value. He’s 31, has a giant contract, and coming off the worst year he’s had since very early in his career. He’s the same age as Hopkins who the cardinals couldn’t give away this off-season.
