I'd argue that even the third may still be over playing the hand and if wasn't let some other sucker have their fun.
Leatherwood was more in range of normal for a bust and probably almost universally was considered at least worth a second.
Still a bad pick but one I can at least process how you get to it.
Arnette was just absurd to the point of the suspicion of maliciousness and that is before you even consider off the field or between the ears a single bit.

Doesn't matter what they meant to the team....just don't look....it's easy. Just hate on the guys who cared about the Raiders.

Why in the fucking world would JG even entertain coming back to the Raiders?

And whomever he coaches for......

Gruden drafted this future HOF'r. And he is indeed.....Elite.
You cannot take his talents off the field given Raiders are in the hunt...however long it is.

Gruden 1.0 was great, sure, but that team was made of established veterans carrying the team. Even that Gruden team couldn't develop young talent if its life depended on it. Of course, once the old guys were gone, the team fell apart and never recovered because it was so devoid of young talent to rely on. All I can remember is Jerry Porter at receiver....
Gruden 2.0 was no better at developing young talent. The only year his team made the playoffs, he wasn't the head coach of the team anymore. Every year with Gruden was the same story, start off hot, then the wheels fell off. It took an interim special teams coach to finish a season to the playoffs.
Don't worry. No other team is dumb enough to give a guy from the booth a 10 year contract or even hire him as a HC again, no matter what happens with his case against the NFL.

I realize you're trolling but this isn't even a good argument. Pointing out a handful of players out of how many transactions Gruden made? What about the 4/5 first rounders he basically pissed away? Also the only reason Cole & Carlson are even here is because he fucked up drafting Townsend and signing Piniero as udfa. Crosby demands double and sometimes triple teams.
