If he wants out, he wants out. He wanted this last shitty hc so fuck him. He threatened it last year so he more or less dipped his toe in the water about wanting to leave. Grant him his wish two years in a row then. I'd rather have a franchise qb anyway and the draft Capitol we could get for him would certainly help get that

Different times with social media, podcasts, etc… Maxx has a pretty significant social media presence so naturally you just hear more from him.

Every losing team with a couple star players deals with this. Media’s gonna speculate and he’s gonna get asked 1000 different ways if he wants to stay on a bad team.

Honestly, this is why we need to draft a QB. Show some level of desire to move this team forward. The last 2 years at QB have been frustrating for us as fans because it feels like we’re not even trying.

You sign Jimmy G, and then Minshew… it feels like our ownership has no desire to win. We’re content finishing at the bottom of the league and selling over priced tourist tickets to away fans. Can only imagine that’s gonna wear on your star players.

Hating on Max is absurd. Dude has played his ass off time and time again for this shitty franchise, and he hasn’t complained. He plays the most important position on defense, and he plays it every play with no restraint and at a high level.

I’ve been all in for tanking and was and am pissed we beat a shitty Jacksonville team. I don’t believe a “winning culture” carries over if you don’t have the right pieces, especially in coaching. But there are certain and few players who create it, and Maxx is one of them. At this point, he might be the only one. He needs to be a Raider for life, and this franchise can’t pay him enough. Make him the highest paid defensive player.

And he deserves to be frustrated and pissed with this franchise as many of us are.

I did not listen to the interview, so with that, I have an opinion anyway. With his injury and surgery, he has had time to sit around and think about his situation. He likely thinks about how hard he has worked, how is body is wearing down, how he is not going to the playoffs year after year. I can't blame him for thinking about moving on.

If he did leave, with the Koonce coming off major knee surgery and with Wilson now all but a clear bust, we would be very lean at pass rusher. That would change priorities in the next draft and FA period. Regardless of all this, or how he looks or sounds, the two best players we have drafted in the last ten years are Maxx and Jacobs, and the pickings are slim after that. If we lose both whether to trade of FA, it would just be another big downer for us, the fans.

The strategy should always be to build around your best player.

Our best player? Maxx Crosby. How do you build around him? Get him a NT that's going to eat up the double team, or another EDGE that makes the defense pay for keying on Maxx.

I believe we're one solid DT away from having one of the best front 4's in the NFL, which on it's oWn can make us a wildcard team.
