Yeah he probably has a vision for what he would like his offense to look like and its the OCs job to make it happen.chucker wrote Thu Mar 28, 2024 10:26 am:I actually think the head coach can and should be involved in the overall focus of the offense even if he's a defensive guy. I suspect that AP is a guy who will say "lets lean on the run game", or "lets make sure we take some deep shots". It's not like he's an idiot about offense, or the tone of a game. It's still up to the OC to make the play calls of course, but I think the head coach gets involved too.

Right except for the years the Raiders proved them wrongDr Death wrote Wed Mar 27, 2024 1:20 pm:I'm not sure why anyone would be offended/upset about where Vegas puts the Raiders when the Raiders pretty much prove them right every year.
It's way past time to change the odds. Until that happens, it is what it is.

Raiders winning the division is +1300 (bet $10 to win $140). I think that's the one I'd put some money on...Xramfan wrote Sun Apr 21, 2024 10:00 am:Ill be in Reno on Thursday, I'll drop my signature $20 on the Raiders to win the SB at the sports book again lol

Haha. One of my kids went to UNR a few years back and I’d visit from time to time. It’s still a shitty city but they have been gentrifying a great deal. Middletown used to be a disaster but now filled with millennials and gen Zers and new little shops and parks16 to 88 wrote Sun Apr 21, 2024 10:29 pm:The shitiest little city in the world. :loltears:

Yeah, it sure has changed over the years, a lot of people have left California and put down roots up there.Xramfan wrote Mon Apr 22, 2024 2:48 pm:Haha. Link: https://247sports.com/college/arizona-s ... 230880165/Antonio Pierce, former ASU assistant head coach, recruiting coordinator and defensive coordinator, and current Las Vegas Raiders head coach, will have his case heard separately by the Committee on Infractions. He is believed to be contesting one or more of the extensive allegations made against him.
Multiple former staffers implicated Pierce as the architect of the recruiting strategies that led to the NCAA investigation in their interviews with investigators and in conversations with Sun Devil Source. It is expected that Pierce will also ultimately be hit with a significant multi-year show-cause penalty, multiple people directly familiar with specific details of the investigation said.
