AP definitely checked another box last night. After a terrible performance on offense Sunday, he moved Bo to the box and it seemed to make a big difference.
Need to not fall flat in KC now. If the team plays well the next 3 the job is his.

I noted the same things. I loved when he said "push the pedal even harder" at halftime. What a refreshing statement from a Raider coach, as opposed to Chucky and McDipshit getting a 3 point lead and trying to sit on it. Still not sold on AP, but if we can keep the momentum going and beat the Chiefs.... I will reassess.

Kinda reminds me of the Tom Cable year, swept the division, smoked the Donks 59-14 in Denver, but didn't make the playoffs. I was irritated Al didn't give him one more year. He accomplished the most important task, beat division opponents.

I am when he'd have Herbert. Belichick's problem is he isn't a good GM. Having said that. Of the two I rather the Chargers wind up with Belichick....

Hmmmm.

Interesting.

Given the offense has been limping to atrocious (specifically with Josh at the helm), that is a rather telling stat.

One the D has kicked ass this year and two, the O has flashed at times when AP is at the helm.

If anything, I think all of us agree that AP does have the players fully committed. They want to play for him. He has them inspired and believing.

P.S. And AP is not adverse to keeping his foot down on the other team's throat when ahead. Both Josh and Gruden seemed to go ultra conservative when ahead and almost by design would allow the other team time to get into the game.

Lot of different people with a lot of different opinions on this. Max Crosby says keep Pierce as does Davante Adams. The team is 100% behind him. I 'm going with the idea nobody can know better than the people that have to work with and, for, a coach who, also seems to be a mentor. I'm not about to question the people, players in the know because I don't know and can only guess. Word gets out fast when a coach is respected and will be the difference in close decisions when it comes to player signings down the road. This will add to the fact this is Vegas not shit-hole Oakland where few wanted to play in the end. I'm pulling for Pierce and Kelly. No reason to blow this team up. There is improvement play wise. Attitude is half the battle and that half has already been won.

Just goes to show how important a good defense is. Years trying to win with one of the worst defenses in the league simply doesn't get it done as it's been shown that a strong defense can carry a mediocre offense but rarely the other way around unless we are talking about an extremely high octane offense the Chiefs of years past. This season the Chiefs are being carried by their defense and should still win the AFC West.

I remember when the players really wanted Bugel too. It's ok to value their input but as far as them more or less making decisions, that imo is a big no

Hell, put names in a hat and let that guy make decisions. It couldn’t be worse than letting Davis make any more.
