Defense is fairly young and cheap. Keep Hobbs in the slot!Dark Horse » Wed Jan 10, 2024 1:39 pm
Two years ago, we tried to improve by becoming the Pats West and it was a disaster. Also with Gruden, the one thing that irked me the most was the way he was so divisive in terms of the way he tiered his players. Either they were Rock stars or lower than bacteria with nothing in-between, and often he would look outside the organization for other teams aging stars. Del Rio had his loyalty to his college teammate who couldn't produce a viable defense even after he drafted to it.Xramfan » Wed Jan 10, 2024 1:49 pm
If that is the wish of whomever the GM is....so be it.BoJacksonRules » Wed Jan 10, 2024 1:54 pm
Hopefully they are smart enough to re-sign Jenkins and Butler. Both were huge down the stretch and it won’t take much to retain them.Dark Horse » Wed Jan 10, 2024 2:02 pm
Butler just has to be. Not sure about Jenkins, although he did play very well. It's the age think. Hopefully we can bring along McCall in his role.BoJacksonRules wrote Wed Jan 10, 2024 1:54 pm:Hopefully they are smart enough to re-sign Jenkins and Butler. Yeah, but some GMs are cunts.Xramfan wrote Wed Jan 10, 2024 1:49 pm:If that is the wish of whomever the GM is....so be it.
I just want the decision to come from intelligence with goals and a vision that starts with the GM
Not from an owner driven by emotion because of fans and Raider chants

Moehrig is one of the fruits of this coaching staffs labors. I thought he played at a near Pro Bowl level. My son's favorite Raiders.Goodtimes333 » Wed Jan 10, 2024 2:55 pm
I thought he was a great prospect at TCU, loved his game. This year they let him do what he does best. A little of everything!Dark Horse wrote Wed Jan 10, 2024 2:11 pm:Moehrig is one of the fruits of this coaching staffs labors. I thought he played at a near Pro Bowl level. My son's favorite Raiders.

I'd let Jacobs walk, even at 7 mil per if there's a few backs the staff likes in the draft. FA will be plentiful with options all the way through the off-season. I like what Zamir White has done but he's had a serious knee injury, if not two? Can't recall, regardless I think having him as 1a/1b/1c with Abdullah and someone else would be very effective. If they let Bolden go you could get another more effective runner/receiver but lose in special teams valueRaiderFan1 » Wed Jan 10, 2024 5:59 pm
To be fair, Mark Davis isn't a meddling owner, that makes GM decisions or decisions on football personell...Xramfan wrote Wed Jan 10, 2024 1:49 pm:I just want the decision to come from intelligence with goals and a vision that starts with the GM
