Yeah I find it a tough to believe they left Allen out of the loop. And if they did...RI RAIDER wrote Thu Apr 04, 2024 3:00 pm:Diggs was ALWAYS complaining. I do not believe the stories that Allen did not know about the trade. I am sure Allen not only knew, but wanted him gone. That being said, losing Diggs and Davis is a big blow.

Davis was very hit or miss. Diggs only had like 350ish yards and 1 TD over the last 7-8 games. I saw an article earlier about how the offense was better when they stopped force feeding DiggsWNYRAIDER wrote Thu Apr 04, 2024 3:00 pm:...there is clearly a 'shelf life' with diggs. .....after a while, he gets pouty and whiny, and seems to default to deflection when a play doesn't click, and i think that gets old for the other offensive players, and especially, with the quarterback, who already feels pressured to get him the ball to keep him from getting moody again.
...it's not always 'everybody else''.... ...and when he stops making the plays he is supposed to make, like that dropped bomb in the playoffs, and at a crucial time, and which could have changed the outcome of that do or go home game.......
if you 're gonna be a constant pain in the ass, you have to make those plays....

The offence was actually better before they changed OCs. Lots of criticism of the new guy’s ability to get the most out of his wideouts, unimaginative play calling, etc..Raidernation1979 wrote Thu Apr 04, 2024 7:14 pm:Davis was very hit or miss. Fuck Diggs lolrich72 » Thu Apr 04, 2024 10:31 pm
They may be waiting until after the draft for anymore big signings because that affects compensatory picks I believe.signal wrote Wed Apr 03, 2024 9:59 am:I have no problem not signing our guys but fucking sign someone.
The OL was weak last season and they have only lost players and added absolutely nothing. Nothing.
I really hope TT does something that addresses this need or it won't matter what pieces are added to the O...it ain't got a chance of doing shit.

For sure that is what they will do.Arsenal Raider wrote Thu Apr 04, 2024 10:04 pm:Fuck Diggs lol
They'll snag a replacement in this WR deep draft

Agreed, and without reaching. My guess would be Tez Walker w/ their 2rd pick.Arsenal Raider wrote Thu Apr 04, 2024 10:04 pm:Fuck Diggs lol

The Raiders are going to have to decide on what they want to do with Adams & what he wants. The Raiders IMO are in really good shape pre draft. Only major hole is guard I'd say. Meyers, Tucker & Maeyer are excellent building blocks for the passing game regardless of the longer term path with Adams. He had some weird drops & moments where he wasn't about it. So on a $/sack basis, Ferrell is a relative bargainJeevo wrote Wed Apr 10, 2024 12:41 pm:Josh Allen gets 5 years, $150 million with $88 guaranteed. Clelin Ferrrell got 1 year at $3.75

What could have been. I remember nearly everyone here preferring Allen yet the guys getting paid millions to be right picked the guy that’s worth $3.75 million. Must have been one hell of an interview.Jeevo wrote Wed Apr 10, 2024 12:41 pm:Josh Allen gets 5 years, $150 million with $88 guaranteed. Clelin Ferrrell got 1 year at $3.75

I can’t say I wouldn’t have taken Cle, issue is I was thinking back end of the 1st. Partnering him with Josh Allen, Sweat or Burns.heavyD wrote Wed Apr 10, 2024 1:27 pm:What could have been. That moment when that name was called was a Bizarro World moment. It was like every Raider fan was transported into an alternative universe...no one saw it coming. And it was ugly.heavyD wrote Wed Apr 10, 2024 1:27 pm:What could have been.
