I think he busts. He’s the one player I wanted nothing to do with.chucker wrote Fri Apr 26, 2024 9:02 am:I think Caleb Williams likely ends up as the best QB in this draft.

I tend to agree, his last year of college the university did him no favors at the skill positions and he still had a good year, that is what you want, a guy who can produce even with lesser toolschucker wrote Fri Apr 26, 2024 9:02 am:I think Caleb Williams likely ends up as the best QB in this draft.

I think of the top 3 maye has the biggest bust factor.Raidernation1979 wrote Fri Apr 26, 2024 9:07 am:I think he busts. He’s the one player I wanted nothing to do with.

Agree. My guess, is that two and possibly three of these QBs will have a good NFL career. The other three not so much.chucker wrote Fri Apr 26, 2024 9:02 am:I think Caleb Williams likely ends up as the best QB in this draft.

I think Caleb is mentally weak. I think he has talent but let’s be honest most guys picked top 10 do. I don’t think he has the mental fortitude to last in the nfl. I think he fortunate he went to Chicago as even mediocre qb play is an upgrade for themvtraider wrote Fri Apr 26, 2024 9:15 am:I think of the top 3 maye has the biggest bust factor.

How about Ryan tannehil as our 3rd qb? Despite not having the ideal off season as far as the quarterback position goes we still upgraded the talent in that room.Attyla » Fri Apr 26, 2024 9:25 am
Tannehill is on his last legs, I doubt he is a good option now.AngryRaidersFan wrote Fri Apr 26, 2024 9:23 am:How about Ryan tannehil as our 3rd qb? Despite not having the ideal off season as far as the quarterback position goes we still upgraded the talent in that room.
Aoc (2nd year) > Aoc (rookie)
Minshew > gacrappolo
Tannehill > hoyer
What do you guys think??

Can it be any worse then hoyer last year? Good lord. Hoyer was finished in 2017.Attyla wrote Fri Apr 26, 2024 9:25 am:Tannehill is on his last legs, I doubt he is a good option now.

so we want a guy who is marginally better than Hoyer? Teams are going to be releasing guys once the draft is over, and we can do better than Ryan. His arm was a noodle last year.AngryRaidersFan wrote Fri Apr 26, 2024 9:29 am:Can it be any worse then hoyer last year? Good lord. Hoyer was finished in 2017.

I would rather fly with a late round guy. I think you have two guys now that can compete to start, go for that guy late who you think has the best chance to surprise. Possibly Jordan Travis on day three.AngryRaidersFan wrote Fri Apr 26, 2024 9:29 am:Can it be any worse then hoyer last year? Good lord. Hoyer was finished in 2017.

I mean if we did not have Minshew, maybe, as a mentor. But we have Minshew, so we can do better than Ryan and yea, maybe a day three guy as the third option or another team's cast off of a young guy they don't have room for, sure.signal wrote Fri Apr 26, 2024 9:39 am:I would rather fly with a late round guy. Right, the idea that Atlanta has to follow some kind of bro-order is nonsense. IMO they made the right call because even a healthy Cousins is one of those QB's not getting business done deep in the playoffs. A Carr, a Prescott... Good but not good enough. So they aimed higher in hopes.JTRaider wrote Fri Apr 26, 2024 8:42 am: They saw a QB worth getting, and got him. Can't fault them for that. Now it just depends on whether or not they were right.

I'd rather take a chance on a mid to late rounderAngryRaidersFan wrote Fri Apr 26, 2024 9:29 am:Can it be any worse then hoyer last year? Good lord. Hoyer was finished in 2017.

exactly, point being we have more intriguing options than Tannehill.Hellbound wrote Fri Apr 26, 2024 9:45 am:I'd rather take a chance on a mid to late rounder

I was reading up on scouting reports for QBs still available and while I didn’t watch a single game of his Jordan seemed to me at least, to have one of the best scouting reports out. Many were so positive of him it seemed like he should have been a first rounder, but again I don’t know anything about the guy but if he’s there in the 4th or later why not?signal wrote Fri Apr 26, 2024 9:39 am:I would rather fly with a late round guy.
