My first choice is still penix. Is he a reach based on media rankings? Maybe. But I think he’s a real 1st round talent and I think we’re kind of fucked for the year if we go into it with AOC and Minshew.KillerRaider30 wrote Sun Apr 21, 2024 7:10 pm:I'd stay put and go Edge DT CB or OT and let Minshew battle it out w AOC.

If I were to guess if we don't go QB at #13 and there is a CB there that they like that will be the pick. Draft isn't as deep at CB as it is OL...raiders93 wrote Sun Apr 21, 2024 8:37 pm:My first choice is still penix. Is he a reach based on media rankings? Maybe. If it’s not penix (or a QB), Byron Murphy would be my choice. Basically just go into the season knowing our offence won’t be great but our D-line is going to be an absolute problem for teams.

There is nothing complicated about it you’re rightDark Horse wrote Sun Apr 21, 2024 12:14 pm:There is nothing complicated about it, you just don't want to believe it. I always told you all that he doesn't f☆ck with the GM. And the Commanders stupidly bringing in all the top 30 QB visits for at one time was the icing on the cat. That move is being roundly criticized.

Any player we draft will be the 13th ranked player thoughKillerRaider30 wrote Sun Apr 21, 2024 5:44 pm:I dont want to give up the farm to move up and I dont want to draft the 31st ranked player with the 13th pick.

Yeah we should probably take Daniels if he makes it to 13.Nor_Cal_Raider wrote Sun Apr 21, 2024 10:34 am:If they want him just take him at 13. You never know what will happen

Nice try. Because Eli Manning and John Elway tore their teams apart from within. Yeah, we won't be taking Daniels off our board.CWood24 wrote Sun Apr 21, 2024 8:57 pm:There is nothing complicated about it you’re right
Now if it is true which it most likely is not you take him completely him off your board as a player like that cannot be trusted in anyway
How long before he gets here does he demand a new contract or he is not playing or does he decides he doesn't like it here & demands a trade
Refusing to play football for me is the biggest red flag in any player & is a cancer that is not needed within the organisation that is slowly cutting all the cancerous stuff that has went on before
Telesco has been quoted as saying he was players who love football & refusing to play for someone else doesn’t sound like a guy who loves football
What worries me more about Daniels though is his response to pressure & his trying to play like Cam Newton when he doesn’t have the size or frame to do so

In this mornings mock draft live, Daniel Jeremiah was clowning the Minshew/O'Connell combo. They had us picking Penix and we were DJ's choice for team most likely to trade up.raiders93 wrote Sun Apr 21, 2024 8:37 pm:My first choice is still penix. Is he a reach based on media rankings? The logic that states because 2 guys did not do something means a third will not is flawed at its core. Nobody here knows that, nobody.signal » Mon Apr 22, 2024 5:12 am
I have stopped clicking on the clickbait surrounding the draft some time ago. I still don't buy the two narratives that appear to be most prominent. Why? Because those sources know about as much as I do as to how TT has these players evaluated.RI RAIDER » Mon Apr 22, 2024 5:52 am
I am not hating on Penix, but I do not want him at 13. I am fine with trying to take him later in the draft. If we are taking him at 13, I would rather trade up for Daniels with the additional cost of 2 future 1st's (which lose a round of value each year in the future). My thinking behind this is that Daniels is going to be superior to Penix and hopefully we will never draft this high again. Strike while we can. What do I know. NOTHING just like everyone on this site, the mouthpieces, blowhards, GM's, etc. Its a crapshoot, but that is my logic (as flawed as my take is).Dark Horse » Mon Apr 22, 2024 6:03 am
Two things, there will have to be a window to trade up for Daniels and that window doesn't crack until the Commanders pass on him. Secondly, Penix Jr. is going in the first round, so it's not about taking him at 13 or not, it's about taking him or not.RI RAIDER wrote Mon Apr 22, 2024 5:52 am:I am not hating on Penix, but I do not want him at 13. My ideal draft day would be taking a CB or OT at 13, and trading back into the 1st round to get Penix. He’s not a perfect prospect, but he’s the kind of guy that has the upside to far outplay his draft slotDark Horse » Mon Apr 22, 2024 6:14 am

The value of a starting QB absolutely blows away the value of a CB, OT or any other position. You can't get cute. Get the QB first and the OL in round 2 or 3.Raiders Baby wrote Mon Apr 22, 2024 6:09 am:My ideal draft day would be taking a CB or OT at 13, and trading back into the 1st round to get Penix.
