Yeah thats not how it works you don't get to pick & choose stats bases off of who you like & don’t likeBoJacksonRules wrote Sat Feb 03, 2024 11:37 am:I could care a less what how they grade Andre James, the dude is below average at best.

in terms of o-line, Doug Marrone has left the Saints. Connections with Coughlin. could be the new line cough and another former player and head coachColoradoraider » Sun Feb 04, 2024 5:39 am
I’m no Oline expert, and I have better things to do with my time than watch football film, but watching the games, James is terrible. He gets beat on the first step, which is everything, over and over again. He was/is the weak link on the line, and I hope he is somewhere else next year. Parham at center is definitely an upgrade.raider_kin » Sun Feb 04, 2024 7:35 am
Then why are his stats so good, if as you say, he gets beat every time?Coloradoraider wrote Sun Feb 04, 2024 5:39 am:I’m no Oline expert, and I have better things to do with my time than watch football film, but watching the games, James is terrible. That, and his smarts and athleticism, was why Parham was generally projected to play C in the NFL, Ideally in a zone blocking scheme.WolfRaider wrote Sat Feb 03, 2024 9:46 am:He won’t be kept here. Kingsbury wants huge guards. That was his calling card before and it worked great. Parham is too small to play Gaurd for him so will be moved into centre.
Tape don’t lie have mentioned Kevin Dotson as a free agent target. But Sportac estimate his value to be just ove 16m a year as a guard

Then man up and say he’s good in a post if you dare.CWood24 wrote Sat Feb 03, 2024 3:24 pm:Yeah thats not how it works you don't get to pick & choose stats bases off of who you like & don’t like

I already have or are you slow but you have done the eye test which is clearly a far more valued way of evaluating a player that actual statisticsBoJacksonRules wrote Sun Feb 04, 2024 4:54 pm:Then man up and say he’s good in a post if you dare.

If these are PFF stats, I'll take them with a grain of salt. The thing is, line play is not like a receiver where you can quantify receptions, yards, and TD's. Lineplay is by and large a group stat more than anything, reflected by RB production and how often your QB gets hit. Those stats mentioned in the tweet are legit just some other guy watching the game for you and saying, "James won this snap." My opinion on James has had some peaks and valleys. I thought it was a horrible decision to make him a center early on, and thought he was dogshit. I've seen some improvement, but he still has some snaps/games where you see a guy who is clearly in over his head at center. As others have mentioned, I think flipping him and Parham would immediately provide some good results. I like James as a guard, but I think he's somewhat middling as a center and I personally value that position highly. Moreso when you have an inexperienced QB or starters elsewhere on the line. Long term I think we should bring in some legit competition for all 3 of our interior spots.BoJacksonRules » Mon Feb 05, 2024 11:07 am
No need to be rude, but I commend you for answering the challenge.CWood24 wrote Sun Feb 04, 2024 9:15 pm:I already have or are you slow but you have done the eye test which is clearly a far more valued way of evaluating a player that actual statistics
