Article outlines the fact AP has his eye on Jayden Daniels. Bleacher Report pitched a trade in which LV would send the 13th overall pick, the 44th overall pick, a 2025 1st round pick and a 2026 2nd round pick to the Patriots for the 3rd overall pick...

That is a hefty price to pay, yet, its the only way to really trade up and get one of those guys... and given our division, perhaps necessary? It has certainly worked out for Houston... and, I think doing something like this sends a strong message to AP's commitment to molding this team into an AFC West contender.

What do you all think?

I would do that in a heartbeat. Two 1sts & Two 2nds? Absolute no brainer. Count me in. I guess my only question would be how Daniels fits in Luke's offense.

Im right there with you. I think its vital we trade up for a QB. Staying put at 13 and drafting any of those guys outside of the top 3 simply wont cut it... not when we have to go up against Reid/Mahomes, Harbaugh/Herbert and Sean Payton two times each every season.

With his ability to run alone he's proven that he can open consistent run lanes in the ground game with a mobile QB. At the least

Really not even two firsts since you're swapping this years picks. Essentially 1 first and 2 second rounders

I would do it and I’ve been anti trade up. The issue is I can’t see it being that cheap. I think it’s another 1st and maybe a 3rd on top of that.

If They’re thinking of trading back and not taking a QB, I wonder if they’ll be interested in Jimmy G or anybody else we see as tradable.

Yeah that trade cost is incredibly reasonable. I’d think if that’s all it took to move from 13 all the way up to 3… we should absolutely do it. That’s not significantly more expensive than the Davante trade.

I’d also say even if you wind up with Maye or Williams that’s still a great trade.

I think any discussion of moving into the top 3 would begin with three firsts minimum. I'd make that trade for the pick today even if I didn't want a QB because you could sell the pick for more than that prior to the draft.

That is why you don't make the trade unti New England is on deck to going on the clock... to ensure the payer you are doing all that for is there... D'oh!!!!
