Every year, we want the #1 overall QB no matter what. I want the best QB too but Celeb is not him. Football is something that you have to be mentally strong so Williams is not him. First of all, Celeb comes from a college with numerous QB bust. The last one was hyped so much, Sam Darnold but is now a QB/journeyman QB. You give Williams time and he will turn into Matt Leinard. Also, Williams lacks maturity and will cry in public if he loses like he did in USC. Celeb's dad is his agent who already wants ownership in the team who drafts him without playing a down. No owner is that stupid, not even Mark Davis. The truth is is a lock the Bears are going to pick Williams and are looking to trade. Fields is rumored to traded before the draft so I am interested him Justin who is young and can pay football. I also prefer JJ Mccarthy who is a winner and Jim H loves him.bulldozer63 » Wed Mar 06, 2024 6:49 am
this guy is talented but thus far he showed more interest in money than footballkramNAVILLUS » Wed Mar 06, 2024 12:14 pm
I would take Caleb Williams over the rest of the QB's in a heartbeat. Hell, trade the next two 1st round picks for him (especially considering we can't do shit with 1st round picks anyways).Nor_Cal_Raider » Wed Mar 06, 2024 12:20 pm
I get the vibe that he's the type that will hold out every year16 to 88 » Wed Mar 06, 2024 8:50 pm

Thats good point, Chicago doesnt even have a dome. Its freezing half the year. Its also kind of a hellhole. I think he wants to play in DC with Kingsbury, which is also a hellhole.BigJerk wrote Fri Mar 01, 2024 10:58 am:It makes sense if he "don't want to play in cold ass Chicago" (a quote i read in a meme).
Less money?
Thats debatable, Sure a % less on the rookie contract ... but resetting the pay scale in 4/5 years ... add in some sponsorships?
He'll still be able to pay the bills.

This thread is hilarious. People ignore the fact the guy said he would love to play in Chicago. Dude is an absolute beast at QB. If Poles trades this pick, he should be fired on the spot. Don't hate because you have no chance to draft him.Sir Raider Duck, OMS » Thu Mar 07, 2024 10:00 am
Or maybe his dad is a LaVar Ball type who will start blabbing to the media about how terrible the playcalling is and what idiots his coaches are, etc.Nor_Cal_Raider wrote Wed Mar 06, 2024 12:20 pm:I get the vibe that he's the type that will hold out every year

It's an open question whether Caleb Williams is "generationally talented." Personally, I see a number of red flags with his mental makeup and personality.BoKnows81 wrote Thu Mar 07, 2024 10:39 am:No, you are allowed to do whatever you want. Committed to mediocrity baby!

If by some freak chance he becomes a Raider before he turns 35, I root my ass off for him.BoKnows81 wrote Thu Mar 07, 2024 10:39 am:No, you are allowed to do whatever you want. Committed to mediocrity baby!
